We have undead dragon priests.
Alduin is appearantly the head of the dragons and an Aedra aspect.
I'd say some worshipers are going to take place on speculation.

A dragon controlling Nordic faction lord could be a possibility. I just hope they're not in red robes again.

I Agree anything but the Red Robes, I vote for Black Robes with a Red Dragon Emblem on it.

Whenever there are dragons, there are always nutjobs that worship them. It's like a trope.

^ this

I think its inevitable that there will be a dragon worshipping cult somewhere in there.

I hope hopes that it will be more than just a generic 'evil cult' of dungeon fodder, but a fully developed faction. Maybe even joinable for evil characters, with quests and so on.

Yeah, I think there will be. I don't think it would be fun nor practical to make every enemy in the main quest line be a dragon. We need something to chop/zap/shoot when we're not going after the fiery beasts. A cult of some kind would be the most logical explanation for antagonistic foot soldiers.

Exactly. Alduin = Akatosh, and Imperials worship Akatosh, ergo Imperials worship Alduin.

Well, it sounds like there's going to be a situation where "...sons of Skyrim spill their own blood". So maybe there is a split within Skyrim's people where part of the population support a dragon faction and the others are against it?

I couldn't imagine anyone worshiping Alduin's dragons, especially since Skyrim is heavily dominated by Nords who think of Alduin as the ultimate destruction. If anyone would, it would be Imperials or something like that, and even then I would believe that they worshiped Tamrielic dragons instead.

Edit: Yeah something akin to the Mythic Dawn would work too. Typical bad-guy cult.

This is a fantasy rpg. Nutty cults are a requirement.

Also Alduin is Akatosh, and Tamreil is the continent.

Learn your lore. These aren't Tamrielic dragons that fought alongside Tiber Septim long ago. I'm certain that are what others have perceived as "Alduin's angels". The Imperials would revere all aspects of Akatosh, but they do not view him the same way the Nords do. That's why I mentioned them in my previous post.
