Will There Be Dragonlings?

Post » Tue May 17, 2011 5:16 am

The ESRB might not but Bethesda does......I have never and would never kill a child in this game nor should the ability to do so be in the game.

and a chicken is not a sentient, free thinking being....a chicken is an animal

You are a very sick and twisted individual, and your posts have been reported.

What makes you think that Bethesda does when there were dragonlings in Daggerfall?

In THIS GAME Dragons are freethinking PEOPLE, I'm sorry I wasn't clear enough for you.

People
3. human beings, as distinguished from animals or other beings.

Your wrong.

People
11. animals of a specified kind: the monkey people of the forest.

Or are you? Hmm...

What's wrong with killing a child? Wouldn't you kill a child if they were hostile?

Stop talking about that, not allowed here.

It doesn't matter it's not a Human child its a DRAGON child, and a child is a child regardless of intelligence...

The ESRB might not but Bethesda does..

Get over yourself and stop speaking for others. Just because you have a problem with it doesn't mean everyone else should. Jeez.. did you cry when they killed the babies in Aliens.

Chew on this. Your out hunting and you kill an animal only to find that it had young offspring. What do you do? The humane thing to do is to kill them swiftly as an act of mercy so they don't have to starve to death. If you are unable to do so because of your precious "convictions" then you are a cruel person for not killing babies.

Back off killing children, it is a restricted topic on these forums.

People who think these adorable baby dragonlings won't maul your face off haven't played Daggerfall. Slaughtering the little things is purely self defense!

Trying to define "person" as strictly human is a dangerous path to go down. It's likely in the real world we won't see other life forms that are up to our human level in our life times, but if they exist they deserve the same rights as any other person. It reminds me of the crimes that take place against the ape people in Planet of the Apes movies. I don't care what it looks like, if it's a person it's a person.

Exactly! Why would Bethesda be against animal/beast murder and include them in Daggerfall!

Like small, cute imp-like dragons? No, thank you. I'd like big, bad beasts 100x the size of myself.

@VadersFist No, thats extremely sick and Bethesda agrees, I would delete your post or this thread will be locked.

@VadersFist, And just because the chicken does not think means that it does not ahve the right to live. Cause it kind of does. Its still has processes in its brain, alike to thinking but based mroe on instict.

And I think you need to calm down.

Anyways, maybe and youmight get to kill them. I do see his point though. They are sentient so killing a Dragon is like killing a human. Because they are both conscious, sentient beings. Still killing these flightless lizards if tehya re trying to kill me is completely exceptable.
