ok...i think NYC would be great..so many landmarks...but i know of a billion reasons it won't be......ok i exhadurate but alot

1} beth likes to build suspense..it'll mean FO4's location has already been mentioned..making it the commonwealth...i would suggest

2} NYC has been done in many forms of media...i can think of several...there'd be alot of refences if they did tho...

3} i'm an australian......and i know u americans wouldn't exactly take kindly to seeing NYC burnt to smitherins....some how NYC will offend someone cause it's too soon..even if it's 10 years after 9/11..... don't lie...someone will get pissy about it...

4) tunnels....they have heard the feedback about them...hence why NV had barely any!

5) few wasteland areas....hard to make all towns, encapments...large battles etc in one kind of terrain..yes i know there is central park..but it's too one minded..it's ALL city

6) would mean all new factions....i'm happy with that..but they want the games to feel sumwhat conected...

and Styles...Midwest BOS isn't canon...they might be there or not...i don't know..i'm not in beth's head..and i think chicago would be great..but i think it'd end up being the great lakes wasteland...so chicago, detroit, milwakkee...maybe even ronto would be included....but even if it's just chicago would be good for waynes world reference i dunno why i think that it'll be bigger..but i expect that new engine means larger map.....hopefully..

Yes, they are. Bethesda has said that key events in Tactics are canon, which would mean the Midwestern BoS are canon since without them, there aren't many key events.

I believe it was Emil Pagliarulo the lead designer of Fallout 3 at Bethesda Game Studios. He said that the "High-Level Events of Fallout Tactics are Canon." MWBoS are also mentioned in Fallout 3. So there is a MWBoS. The details are not that clear as to which ending to Tactics if any they will pick but this means there is such a thing as the MWBoS. The "High-Level Events," well you can't get more high level then the Air Convoy they used, the storm they ran into, Latham's Mutant Armies (former Master Armies) and then Vault Zero and the Calculator. And there was a Warrior.

Yeah was also thinking about this, imagine all the abominations living in Central Park Zoo!!! Seeing The Statue of Liberty miles away(Like the Capital Building or Lucky 38). Would be amazing!
