In the next fallout(the one after new vegas) or even after that, will there be a fallout in New York city? I'm new here, but still I think it would be cool to play in NYC, mabe as an Enclave or something, wad you guys think?

Personally I think that unless the whole map is the city of New York, leave it out. I wouldn't like a downscaled sandbox version of it.

welcome to the fourms HD DIME and i agree about fallout being in New York but the only known place with enclave there would be chicago but that just means new fractions! and i can only say New york has been in a few zombie,horror,deseaster,action,and comedy movies and about 5 games GTA doesn't count cuz its never actuly set in New york it just has sone of the buildings never has a post apocalyptic games sey in New york ever been done

here is a way New york survived..............................so america knows New york is a huge target so they set up AAguns on the buildings to shoot the bombers down and 85 percent of the bombers are shoot down the ones that hot to there targets NUKED..............................well thats up to the developer

thank you and the army guys who manned the AAguns could have survived and created a community around a bunker that was filled with weapons and you could start off the game by being born in the faction then training to become a soldier and when you do become a soldier your tasked with going out and patrolling and stuff and one quest could be about you needing to finds some documents in the UN building

I read a bit of a fan fiction a while ago about soldiers stationed in New York City were supposed to go into a Vault go AWOL and managed to save most of NYC, believe they saved everything except Brooklyn and Queens.



I had an idea of a battilion of pre-war soldiers who became a military force after the nukes went off. They called themselves Atlantic Militia. They control (or could control) part of Manhattan and most of Staten Island.



Those are movies, I have yet to see a list of Post-Apocalyptic NYC videogames.

Doesn't matter, it is the location. It's New York, New York, New York all over again! If Fallout 4 comes out, and we see the Empire State Building in the background, or the backside of the box says "In a post-apocalyptic New York" I will sigh and thing "wow, how original"..

Well, I mean, most buildings in new york after the war look pretty damaged. Imagine a fallout where you play as an Enclave marine, trying to claim any land without strong enemies, new york city would mostly have mutated freaks, and humans trying to survive, underground places would be key. Imagine building settlements for the enclave. Nobody has ever done a nuked NYC. Plus look at this info and picture of what NYC kind of looks like now NYC WOULD BE GREAT + build settlements ect. over a span of 5-10 years, Rise of the Enclave, try imagining the 13-14 representatives of the enclave in a board meeting room trying to figure out wat to do to survive, NEW YORK seems perfect! Rebuild star Junction, if mr house can rebuild new vegas in a couple months, and civilize the people, so can the enclave. And you could play as a marine help building new york, clearing it of raiders and mutated freaks, even more factions(taloon company,mobsters, mercinaries, ect.) Mabe even another war with the brotherhood, but this time ur fighting with the enclave for NYC. ya the fallout bible isnt canon (canon is what realy happend and what is confirmed) so New york surviving is possible and the enclave has not been confirmed to be in New york only chicago but it is possible and to get to the statue of liberty you half to take a boat! and UN is near New york,New york
