Will there be fat people in Skyrim?

Just a bit more diversity as far as circumference and height goes?

In oblivion everyone was really fit yet i never seen anyone doing laps around the city gates

I'm sure I heard something about customisable bodies being mentioned in GI, but that could mean tattoos, which I'm pretty sure have been confirmed. I'd like different body types - I like the idea of playing a tubby mage. Would also be good to see some diversity in NPCs - the ones who always end their days in the local tavern could have beer bellies.

Yes! Let the fatness begin!

On a serious note, variety is great.
This also goes for body shapes. Some slim, some normal, some muscular, some fat.

In medieval times, being fat showed that you were rich. TES has always had a kind of medieval sub-theme, so I think it would be cool to see some fat, rich guys.

Yes! Please fat people! My main character will be so massive, that she will simply roll over the enemy and crush them once and for all!

honestly, i dont care if they make an option to actually make your character fat. apart from providing some laughs i cant see a use for it

im hoping for more diversity among NPCs, some fat merchants and innkeepers

I'm with you. If I had to choose, I'd rather see fatty npcs than fatty pcs. I hope I'll be robbing and assassinating some fat, wealthy merchants and nobles.

"Fully customizable bodies" have been confirmed. Presumably this will mean sliders or something for fat/skinny in the character creation steps. I don't think we'll be able to make any Yagrum Bagarn look alike's, however.

While I doubt I'd use such an option myself, if NPCs can be like that, it should be available to the player as well, because I don't like the idea of features that NPCs can have which aren't available to the player in an Elder Scrolls game.

Still, different body shapes would definitely be good for adding variety to NPCs, and I believe it's confirmed we'll see that, but it waits to be seen just how wide characters can be in the game.

I read somewhere in the lore that the Nords kill fat people at birth, so I can't really see it happening.
