Except, it's already been done. Female goblins, for example. When a creature in the game has a clearly-defined culture like they do (and it appears giants do too), it makes sense to add some diversity to their ranks.

Morrowind had multiple tiers of kwama- larva, workers, soldiers and queens, all different- and Oblivion did the same for goblins. There's dozens of different armour combinations for them, as well as two distinct body types to reflect the two genders.

Why wouldn't Beth consider such a thing for giants in Skyrim?

Also, like I said, "female" doesn't automatically mean "six appeal". Why all the talk of nudity? Have you seen the male giant screenshot? Do you really want to see one naked!?

I would consider Goblins part of the civilized commune part of my argument, and they presumably had clothing? (I don't remember) Also I am not opposed to the idea that giants have female counter parts.

My main argument was incited because someone mentioned undead woman and not just men, as well as a post that named several monsters that only have a male version. I believe what I said is valid.

Animals don't wear clothing, and if you look at the screen shot of the new Troll you will notice that his fur properly covers his 'private' area. That of course is a design decision, and one I can totally understand. Animals and monster-like animals in real life aren't so fortunate to have their less honorable parts covered. Often times they are easily seen, and in the case of some like monkeys too easily seen and that can create discomfort even if you are alone. I remember watching a show about monkeys and thinking to myself how indecent they looked. I would admit that it was their resemblance to humans that caused me to feel that way but it is still true.

sixuality in that sense, of making especially female versions of animals that have exposed briasts would not be easily approachable like I had mentioned in my post. I directed those arguments towards those who noticed why most monsters are seen as male and not female.

If you were to approach it you would see it in the same fashion that female Goblins were approached. You would see them wearing clothing or their fur would cover any indecency, and even then it would have to be design over realism.

The assumption that the only reason gamers want females in a game is for six appeal is appalling. There are so many sixist assumptions about that that I don't know where to start. So I won't, since you're almost certainly trolling.

I'll shelve it at that-- after all, that guy is probably a troll. Let me just say that while it's fine to have supernatural daedra appear masculine or feminine, having the enemies all be male is unbalanced. I think bethesda is smart enough to make different models, one male, one female, whatever.

Also, Giants actually grow on trees, they're a kind of fruit.

so then trolls are bringing up giants in a game centered around dragons? nifty.
