You know how complicated it would be for crytek to import a map editor into crysis 2 for consoles? Go on youtube and look up Cryengine 2 sandbox editor and look at that. CRyengine 3 is basically going to be the same thing but only possible for pc. And forge is not a map editor. It is a object editor.

Forge isn't an object editor, you don't edit any objects, you edit the map by placing objects in it, thus it's a map editor.
And with livecreate an xbox editor would be very possible, but you'd still need a powerful pc, however, i have read that livecreate is for developers only.

Far cry 2 had a very simple MP map editor for consoles... but far cry 2 was a very simple game.
Crysis sandbox 2 was a lot more complex, so the next one will be mostly the same.
PC gamers will be able to get a lot of MP maps for free, and console gamers will need to pay for a small map pack with those crappy MS points. That's the MS policy on his console.

Well, i think it evens out, crysis is modified to fit consoles, with things like only 2 suit modes, instead of 4, and no large mp maps with vehicles and more than 6vs6, so we don't get to see a game like the crysis we all loved, you guys also got a beta and a demo, so i think us getting free new maps and content is fair.

Ahem... how is that even possible? How is it possible to a console run a Sandbox? All I've heard was LIVE Create where you create stuff in Sandbox 3 and it updates in real-time on the consoles.
