Yes there will be more closed. Might even be some happening right now and you'd never know it, though, because its all under NDA.

Confirming recent "Closed Beta Invites" are under NDA?

All closed beta invites are under NDA.

They announce when a new wave of invites go out.

But that doesn't preclude them from running beta tests with people drawn from the existing pool. They may have run more tests than new invites have gone out.

The only invites that aren't under NDA are the ones they publicly announce, which they haven't done any of those in a few months like you said in your first post. So yeah, discussing anything else is indeed forbidden.

edit: Basically what DevenTarn said. Public invite waves aren't the same as test invites.
