Considering that Skyrim shares a border with Morrowind, which is full of Daedra worshipping Dark Elves, who will likely be all the more inclined to return wholly to reverence of The Daedra, true deities with vast innate power all their own rather than power siphoned from an external source, since the Demi God Triumverate has fallen. And it is almost certain that the mountains of Skyrim will be FULL of refuge Dark Elves, fleeing the ruin of Vvardenfall and the invasion of the argonians. The mountains are doubtless hostile terrain to lizard folk who make their home in the warm, fetid swamps of BlackMarsh. It is probable that there already are ancient Daedric shrines settled in the mountains between Morrowind and Skyrim. At least it would make sense.
I hope the devs make it so, and have a good number of Daedra, Summonable Daedra, and Daedra related sidequests in the game. The Daedra, lessers and Princes, are some of the most unique, fascinating, defining, and curiously underexplored (in terms of the societies and interactions of the tribes of lesser Daedra) features of The Elder Scrolls, and I think any game in the series moving forward would have them, or else be a scandalous shame.
I think having a future ES installment with no Daedra would be right up there with having a future ES installment with no no Elves, Nords, Orcs or Redguards.
