I understand performance may suffer but will or may it cause unreversable damage to my progress in this game?
Im far in the game and my fear is i will make a huge settlement then lose the save due to extreme lag, crashing or corrupted save files.
Well eventualy the game will start crashing, i am not sure how much you can safely increase it on PS4(on a decent PC you can increase it by a lot) but dont you guys on console have multiple save slots, so you cud simply save up increase it a bit and test how it works, and keep repeating that same process until it starts lagging to bad or crashing and than just load one save back.
You shouldn't have too many problems as long as you don't do it on too many settlements. I've used it at Graygardens, County Crossing and Finch, but nowhere else (although I will use it at Hangman's before too long).
I have noticed that it causes a lag at my high level when I fast travel too or from them, but, other than that I haven't encountered any serious issues.
Just be careful and save often is all I can suggest.
What is settlement size glitch?
Ah, I find it out.
I noticed with the weapons dropped by the attackers too and actually suspected this might be possible knowing how much glitch this game has.
My save file is already like 27 mb... so I probably shouldn`t mess too much though
