Will this forum run out of topic material too fast?

Post » Fri Nov 27, 2015 10:31 am

After having devoured this forum and the fallout reddit. I have concluded that all theories and relevant topics for discussion has been devoured. I'm a bit concerned we wont get new material to feed on. That we will end up as feral ghouls cannibalizing old topics over and over until we die of starvation and the host (the forum) dies.

Anyone else concerned? Do you want Bethesda to come out with more material from time to time to keep the discussions going? Or do you find it to be better if the least possible amount of info is thrown our way? I really don't want the story spoiled, but the hype has left me with an insatiable hunger for information. I feel like a deathclaw that ate all the molerats in their Den without preserving the food.

Not really, Bethesda generally releases just enough info to keep us speculating. If things start to dry up too much I expect they'll give us more to keep the hype going.

They will continue to trickle out details as needed to keep the fires stoked. They've clearly saved some features for this very purpose, in fact. In the interview after the E3 show when Todd Howard was asked about his favorite perk he even mentioned that it was hard to answer the question without revealing something that they weren't ready to talk about yet. You know they aren't going to wait until release to talk about all that stuff, but they want to save some cool features for later reveal to fan the hype flames as the release day nears.

Gator Country is right. If there's something to argue about, we'll argue about it. If there's nothing to argue about, we'll argue about nothing.

All forums pre-release are a roller coaster ride, there are http://www.lazerhorse.org/wp-content/uploads/2013/07/Pakistan-Funny-Railway-Crowded-Train-Dangerous.jpg and there are http://www.urban75.org/photos/newyork/images/new-york-109.jpg. (Pun intended.)

I could easily start an argument about... A tree looking like Harold and then theres at least a day worth right there, maybe a week. I know my profile says I joined recently but really I've been around a LONG time. I had a profile when Oblivion came out, made a new one for Skyrim, and now I'm here. Always forget the damn password...

ANYWAYS...Yes... There will be much more to come.

We had 260 threads of "Fallout 4 Speculation, Ideas and Suggestions" prior to the announcement of Fallout:4 and this section of the forum being opened. I don't see us running out of things to talk about any time in the near to distant future.

I thought we ran out of things to complain about when people started complaining about vault boy animations.

If the forum can spend a week debating how game ruining having a preset hetero character, and how impossible it will be for them to role play over this, I'm sure it will manage.

As long there's someone who post interesting theories and speculation, the ball will roll on...

No offense, but please let them rest in peace! O_O

If we do, we'll just rehash some old arguments. That is our way.

I don't want to know too much anyways. Best part of Fallout 3 was some one lent it to me, I had no idea what I was getting into! I had just seen half my friends on my xbox 360 start playing it and no longer playing any multi-player lol. I worked seasonal and had that winter off and FO3 is pretty much all I did! I owned Morrowind and Oblivion (2 times as I bought the game of the year) and FO3 got me playing them as well and then obviously Skyrim.

If it's one thing I've learned posting here, people never tire of regurgitating the same things ad nauseam.

But aside from that, I agree with whoever said they'll trickle out info over the next few months.

I will, for now. Until a list of perks get released and if Cherchez la femme and Confirmed Bachelor aren't there but perks like Black Widow and Lady Killer are weeeeeellllllllll...
