The one thing that turned me off about oblivion was that it didnt have the trophy(ps3) or the achievement(xbox360) system, but it didnt get me turned off the game to play it it was great without it. But its something i would love to have, i am a torphy [censored] when it comes down too it :rolleyes: Even if it didnt have this, i would still be satisfied with the game, i just think that it just gives the game a little more to work for, Because once i finish a game with the feature i usually go back and check what achievements i have yet to work on. Its just something i would love to see, i know most of the people wont care because well its a elder scrolls game! and they define massive when it comes down too it.

So my question is that, has anyone confirmed or know that this game will have that feature? I'm just curious and im not gonna not buy the game even if it doesn't as i said above.

What are you talking about? Oblivion had achievements/trophies just like every other 360/PS3 game. It's just that they were all related to the various storylines.

Yes, Skyrim will have achievements. Whether they're something you can brag about remains to be seen.

But Oblivion DID have achievements, they just weren't very good...

Personally, I hope there's more achievements than just "Finished X Quest". I hope there's challenge and easter egg achievements.

well, when i look in my trophy collection on my PS3, it doesnt show up. so either they only did it for the 360 or something is horribly wrong and im missing something? :blink: Im confused now...

Thats weird, i go into my trophy collection on my ps3 but i see nothing about oblivion trophies, i played the game like 4 times and havent gotten a single one. is it possible that bethesda just made that feature only for the 360?

I never really got what's so good about those console achievement stuff.

Oblivion had Xbox 360 Achievements, The reason there were no Trophy's is that it came out before Trophys were made.

People these days, can't enjoy a game when there are no stupid SENSELESS trophies/achievements in their games.

Ahh ok, thank you for your reply. I was starting to worry that there was something terribly wrong. though it is a shame, but atleast i got the experience of out of the game and thats good enough for me.

people these days, they just judge before taking a second and think or READ in this case. where did i imply that i didnt enjoy oblivion? i loved the game. i just thought the trophies would be a nice touch, unfortunately i did not experience that, but its not a massive deal to me because atleast the game was very enjoyable.

o i c. I've never actually played a PS3 game, so I just assumed trophies have existed for as long as achievements have. :whistling:

There will definitely be achievements. Hopefully they will be a bit more inventive than the ones in Oblivion though.
