Will you always be scanning the skies while wandering around

Post » Tue Oct 18, 2011 3:12 pm

I know this may seem obvious, but I just realised the gameplay implications of not knowing when or where a dragon will attack, leading to me probably be constantly searching the horizon skies for the dreaded shadowy shape of the dragon in the distance.
It will be thrilling to see the first one I think.

Probably at first I will be. Though It will be quite exciting to not be paying attention and to have one just swoop down on you spraying fire/ice at you

No need to watch the skies, if one flies nearby you will see a huge looming shadow on the ground, though at night it might be better not to travel :bolt:

I sure hope the dragons makes sounds before they attack, or else I would be scanning the skies all the time :P don't want them to sneak up on me and scare the living [censored] out of me

Yes, though it will be because the skies in Skyrim are beautiful.

Probably not. I'll be careful about traveling to places that I haven't come across before. Probably won't be galloping around on my horse until I have explored the entire country. But once that first unexpected dragon attack comes, I'll probably be a bit traumatized for a while. I prefer to play these games without dying if possible. :P

It would be awesome if a dragon could cast a Darkness spell, then all you hear is its breath being drawn in.

Probably... Wonder how dark skyrim gets at night. Imagine fighting a dragon in pitch black or thick fog?!

Won't have the courage to look up for a long time.

Out of sight, out of mind, as they say!

But hell, what about the deaf player?

Or someone like me playing Boston (a 70's era band for you kiddies) Foreplay / Long Time at 110Decibels in the background?

We'd never hear that stupid mutant bat lizard.
Not fair man. It ain't right.

I would rather hire a busty side kick to keep an eye on the skies for me as I wander about. Then I'd expect them to
shout, "HEY, [censored], WATCH OUT!!!"

Probably for a little while; after some time I'll probably let my guard down and Lord knows that when I'll get attacked.. :shifty:

Should be fun though. :P

I thought this would be a nighttime thread

I always scan the skies for the Warrior, Thief, and Mage. They're quite pretty stars.

I haven't had to scan the skies while walking since Morrowind...
