Will you cheat in Skyrim

Post » Tue Sep 20, 2011 11:02 am

Well i will use cheats for increased weight and maybe cheats so i can build better armor since i don't rly like lvling that kind of perks or lvling that skill at all, i wanna focus my real talents on combat and magic so i think i will use cheats for the "not rly important talents"

I can't be bothered by weight. I'm an inventory hog that picks up anything of value so I can sell it.

Cheat maybe.

No. Any kind of cheat or exploit kills the enjoyment for me. I'll only use them when I want to screw around.

I just loved to screw around with cheats after I beat Oblivion, like make all the guards 1/2 scale and setting their crime gold to 2000 (Its hard not to laugh).

Not unless i'm doing non-cannon stuff that i'll reload a save later before i did it. I do make use of no clipping mode when i get stuck though, not sure if that counts as 'cheating' rather than a useful tool.

Depends on what you mean by cheat. I will be trying to add mods, console commands whatever to return things into the game that I think should be in the game, which the game probably does not know how to cope with. Like I prefer oblivion/morrowind awesome jumping over lame 2 foot hurdles like I expect we will get in Skyrim. So I'll try to add in cool jumping, even though the AI etc probably has no idea how to deal with it.

Cheats ruin the game so i never use them. I only use cheats to fix bugs/errors or to test my mods.

The only cheat I would possibly consider would be for lockpicking as I find that the mini games get a bit tedious. That's not to say that I would cheat to open some uber-hard lock right at the beginning but later on in the game. Besides that no

Maybe after a few hundred hours when i'm bored and want to mess around a bit. And definitely not with my main / first character.

Since I'll be on the console it's doubtful I'll be doing a lot of cheating. However if there is something exploitable which comes along..( like the duplication exploit of oblvion).. then I'll probably do it a few times.

AFAIK there aren't really cheat codes or anything, but you could exploit glitches and stuff like that I suppose.

I picked "for small stuff." Since I'm liable to bring up the console every so often when I (inevitably) get stuck in something and need to no-clip out of it. Though if Bethesda did a REALLY good job at designing the world so that doesn't happen it'll be a "no."

I've cheated for fun in Oblivion and it just killed the whole experience for me, not making that mistake again.

Cheating always kills my enjoyment of the game.

Besides I will be playing as honesly as possible. No reloading after accidentally bribing someone a lot of money and getting negative results. I'm playing Dead is Dead, too.
