Count them? No way, too many. Would take too long and I'd just loose count half ways
up and would have to start all over again. That and I don't really care if it's 6990 or 7010.

Yes because I have OCD and it will FORCE me to count them whether I want to or not. ( I am serious, this is not a joke. It is difficult to live with sometimes, but it makes me a better game player.)

Well, apart from being OCD. I'm just entirely pedantic.

In all honesty, I'll probably just find a couple of hundred copies of a small item (e.g. arrows), exploit some duplication glitch if it is available, and then go and place them on every xth step.

I.e. I'll start with 100 arrows and drop one at every 70th step.

I'm sure someone could time how many steps you climb per second while running at full speed and then use that to calculate how many steps there actually are given the amount of time it takes you to reach the top.

I will not be doing this as I see it as a complete waste of time.
