A) Yes.
B) No.
C) Maybe, if they fix Crysis 2.

Never again from Crytek.

EA is just way too big to say 'no'

Only pc specific. Unless I get money for a console and they come out with an editor for that.

What has EA to do with that? Crytek created the game, EA is just the publisher.

EA, Yes. EA publishes so it does not matter

But Crytek? I have my doubts. Its funny how they made CryEngine 3 and NOT utilize the damn physics in it. I do think they made it possible to do all the crazy physics like in CryEngine 2 but its just that the damn consoles cannot support it. So why did they even bother to make the damn engine fit they are not gna utilize all the features...

I never buy from Crytek , as Cevat said they never make a PC game,I think that is the last for PC. Crysis 2 is an example, they let it free to play to demonstrate that PC games are eazy to hack and make as to choose consoles. Shame on Crytek I buy it every think from them since Farcry. Very disappointed.

Any Crytek software wouldn't be a day1 purchase for me like Crysis 2 was.

The Crysis 2 release has damaged their reputation amongst the PC community but judging by the hassle of fixing this unfinished game and reaction from that PC community, I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't bother releasing a PC game again.

Yes but it would be a few months after the release. I don't want to be hassled with bugs that are game breaking.

Actually, it does matter seeing as EA would never allow them to push the release date forward. EA set a release date, and they have to follow it. If only Crytek was given more time, most of the current bugs wouldn't be present.

You might be onto something there, but this does leave an opertunity for another dev to showcase there engine as pc specific. Crysis benifited by pe makers using it to showcase the pc potential.
In fact crysis 1 with mods is somthing a lot of people use as a selling tool for pc systems, even today.

Out of the current engines, the only one that I am really interested in is id tec 5 but aparently its dx9, with options for dx 11 for the next release of consoles. That seems to have the same sort of open features cry editor 2 had.

Indeed.. sometimes you think they did it on purpose.. first the internal beta leak suddenly poping up, then the registration key fiasco and the free accessible MP configuration files that are client side and not server side or at least force server side.

As for buying something again.. depends on the game, but sure not gona preorder anymore and maybe only buy it when its sub 10€ on steam... :p

Its the same as with UT3. The End of the franchise "Crysis x"
.
It came to early, it came as a console port and they patch to late and to little.

Selfdestruct with one release. Bravo Mr. Yerli!

I will buy EA games in the future cause they have a very large publishing market, but I'm concerned about crytek. Everything woked so well with Crysis and Crysis Warhead, but now things have changed. Maybe they should sell the Crysis franchise to Ubisoft as they did with Far Cry. Far Cry 2 was an exelent game and I loved its END...
If Crytek will release another sequel to crysis 2 for PC, I will buy it, but after few months of bug fixing.

Now that's ONE company I pretty much refuse to buy from for...

1) PC gamers pretty much get shafted by them regularly.... from a 6 month delay for "marketing" (dont want to cannibalize the console market) to DRM that stops you from playing if your network goes down.... not even wont let you start the game, stops it..... to basically only selling one fran... wait... nevermind... they are down to basically Assassin's Creed everywhere now....

2) Speaking of everywhere, any other developer do more to give Wii the reputation of party games and shovelware then our "pals" at Ubi?

Seriously, I want Crytek to keep going, personally... I am LOVING this game... bugs and all, it is a great single player game (I never played Crysis 1 online or Crysis Wars... just Warhead and Crysis 1 SP.... why would I care to make the game my multiplayer title now?). But if they had to sell it, do so to someone like iD or Valve... not to Ubisoft.... ok?

Thanks.....

From Crytek...NO !

It's not the DX 11 or graphics or even the nano bug....it's just a boring rail shooter of a game.

Almost thought I was playing FEAR 2 at first.

From EA ? Probably..

Really? Worst release ever?

I figured that was GTA4 on PC.... Rockstar's terrible "you need to log into 3 different applications to make this work" combined with "despite the svck graphics, even for it's time, you need more power then god to run this piece of junk" and "patching is just going to make it worse" that actually got so bad, Valve publiclly offered refunds for the game when bought on Steam. THAT'S how you have a terrible launch! Take notes!

This? This is a game that has some bugs in the single player, and needs a lot of work in the multi... frankly, sounds like good old Crytek when releasing a new engine to me! (Crysis 1 was exactly the same.. only no one gave a crap about MP.... and most of the actual bugs in it were mainly in the DX10 version of the engine, although they DID make some maps unplayable.)

EA didn't make the game, and they publish some damn good ones, so i'll be buying EA games in the future.

As for crytek, i won't be buying on day 1 again :P Crysis 2 is good, but i should've probably waited for dx11 and the numerous patches prior to it. My advice to my friends has been 'yeah, it's good, but only steam sale good'.
