Will you kill ALVOR?

Post » Tue Jul 05, 2011 5:35 am

Unless he suddenly casts a spell and attacks me wearing Mythic Dawn gear or some Skyrim equivalent, I am highly unlikely to ever do anything to him (or anyone else not hostile to me).

First the blonde waitress and now Alvor? You need to end hating the better known NPCs in Skyrim Do'tirath. At least wait untill release, maybe they are cool people :P .

lol long time ago! nice memory

but yeah.. I think Alvor takes his work too seriously and needs to be put down. -_-

I tend to play Crusader type characters so no I wont kill Alvor. Try to translate Alvor from norgewian to english, but keep in mind that Google Translate isn't entirely correct here ;)

No way, Alvor is the first guy with a proper beard we've seen. He's awesome!

Only if it turns out that he is a total racist and refuses to help my Argonian then he gets a beating, but he stays alive. :P

The real question is, "Will Alvor kill YOU when your initial attacks fail to penetrate his defenses beard?"

Or possibly, "Will Alvor lose a finger on that grinding wheel if you remain in dialogue with him for long enough?"

It depends on two factors.

1. How easy is he to kill.

2. If I kill him what type of an impact gamewise will that have. I gain the stuff in his store but I'll lose the opportunity to get new items or sell stuff to him.

Because he's the first character we know about in Skyrim, he'll be my bestest buddy

I made the mistake of killing shopkeepers after botched burglary attempts.

Something I won't be repeating again....except on my final playthrough as a mass murderer.
See how far the engines come.

It'd be awesome if Alvor was Alduin in disguise. I know it doesn't work lore wise, but it'd be funny. He is like your best buddy, and at the end of the main quest he comes and says "Yo Dovahkiin, got a surprise for you bro" and he turns into Alduin.

On second thought, this was a stupid idea..
