I'll probably play it on hardcoe my first time in. it's the new feature that has all the kiddies doing their dances.

First time, other wise I'll be too used to not needing water and keep forgetting to bring it with me.

If it lives up to the hype, I will probably never play in NON-HC mode. So far it sounds more like the kind of Fallout experience I was hoping for with FO3.

I'll probably try out hardcoe mode on my 3rd or 4th play through, but certainly not my 1st or 2nd play through. On my first play through if the game is difficulty i'll set it to easy otherwise i'll leave it on normal.

Those who voted "Never", mind explaining why you won't play it?

I am going to turn hardcoe mode on and forget about it. I am never going to play New Vegas without it. :D

I'll have it turned on for my first playthrough. It sounds like it offers a little extra bit of challenge to the game without adding a lot of tedium.

If I wait to play hardcoe then I'll know where to find an overabundance of supplies after my first playthrough. So, hardcoe first run. I'll figure it out as I go.

1st, you have to think more and actually try to play the game instead of being a god.

Finding food and water to survive, find a makeshift bed to stay healthy. Plan on the map how i'll get to an area deciding that I follow the river(for easy water) until Im out of range from the area I want to explore. Calculate the number of rounds you'll take with you, deciding if AP ammo or alot of crap ammo, from assault rifle round to how many rifles rounds Ill bring. Looking in an enemy camp and deciding which person to kill first instead of running in and knowing my insta heal stimpacks are there and actually figure out how your going to take these guys down and actually use cover. Try my best to be careful with landmines or ill easily cripple my legs making me easy prey.

Yah thats what I want.

I chose I DON'T KNOW!, but I'm thinking about Never. It just doesn't appeal to me that much. I wouldn't want to put my character through real world problems. Ammo weight? I'd never want my character to go through the same stuff me or my brother went through. Sometimes they would load him and his squad down with a veritable [censored] ton of surplus ammo to get rid of it all and he would just have both his SAW gunners laying down suppressing fire for a couple minutes. Even then they would have to hide some in the bushes. They always just said "the bush monster ate it". Considering how much ammo you acquire during the course of the game, I just don't want to have to deal with that kind of crap. As for dehydration, two words. "Silver Bullet". Thank God it didn't happen to me, but I'm not going to name the guy it did happen to.

Definitely playing hardcoe on my first playthrough--it adds the elements that I wished for in FO3. I may try playing without HC on my second playthrough, when I've already seen the story and am more interested in being an evil bastard and screwing around rather than playing seriously.

hardcoe on the first play though, however if I feel some of the mechanics just adds to much busywork I′ll turn it off an play on as normal, however once someone makes a mod that allows me to choose exactly what effects of hardcoe mode I want (say only want to have ammo weight but no other effects) I most likly make it a standard to have on threwout each time I play.

Yes for my first couple of playthroughs I always see what I can do in a game, So as hardcoe adds to the experience I see no reason not to play it unless it stops me doing other role playing things I want to try out.
