So will you be playing the opposite six?

Post » Fri Nov 27, 2015 6:53 am

I have enjoyed when given the option in games, to pick a character that is a different species/six then what I am in real life. However I have never played a character that is a wife/mother, so that would be odd. But I will probably still do it.

Anyways, are you planning on playing a character that is opposite six from yourself? Or are you sticking to what you are?

I always play as both.
Especially a game where the interactions change based on six.

Yes I'll be playing a female, I always do. I'm actually really excited to play the female character, maybe because there wasn't much shown of her.

Only game I've played as the opposite six to myself is in Fire emblem Awakening, any other game and it feels weird to me so i'll stick to being a dude.

I will eventually. But I normally don't leave my boundries until I'm ready to leave my comfort zone.

I usually do two games. I like the different dialogue and options that are presented to each six

I dunno. Maybe I'll have another save where I base the male model on my husband. That would be fun. But I get jealous--would have to make that dead wife super-ugly. You know, a real ****bomb.

I usually play female though.

My characters are not me nor a reflection of myself. The first character will be a female.

I play two files. One features a female character and the other features a male character. Why? Because I can.

I play as both sixes. I try to create a variety of characters to experience the story through a wide range of perspectives.

No, I prefer to play as female. But I do like how the male lead looks (dat tight vault suit..), so I will probably play around a little in the CC with him.

Probably. The voice actor sells me on it, honestly.

plus, it was an enjoyable experience in the last two Fallout games.

Nope, I prefer to play my own gender. As I play exclusively in first person, there is really no reason to play the opposite six as the 'eye candy' factor isn't in play.

I will be playing both sixes at one time or another. I just do not know which one will be my first character. likely there will be a fight between the sixes at the mirror likely the wife will win with the stare.

Oooh, yes. This too. I really wanna play Mass Effect with manshep but UGH that deadpan. Especially when compared to Jennifer Hale. From the little we've heard this division seems more reasonable though.

Oh, that's right. I forgot, but I too was really unable to do male Shepard because I so preferred the female voice actor.

It also remains to be seen whether or not the voice actors will affect how I make my character look too.

At some point, yes. I've played multiple builds on F3 and NV- some male, some female. Don;t see that changing.
It would be nifty to have perks that differ between the two, so the experience is more than a different coat of paint, though.

With a voiced protagonist i always play a little bit with each voice to see which one i think is the better actor and then i play the gender that matches the better actor.

I'm a guy and I'll play as a guy for the most part.

I'll eventually role a dusky woman who has blue lips, an eyepatch, and carries a flamethrower named "Victarion".

Mostly I'll be playing my own gender, as I always do. May create a female character, who knows, although whenever I do however on those rare occasions I tend not to get very far along and never finish that game for some reason.

I usually play both, though for one reason or another I tend to spend the most time on the female.

I won't because I dislike the voice actor. If someone makes a mute mod by the time I buy it and if the game is good enough for multiple playthroughs (not a guarantee, Fallout 3 bored me), then I will play as a man.

Of course. It's a part of role playing, play something you're not

Absolutely. When given a choice I usually play female characters and very rarely male ones.
