Will you be still playing this in 2-3 months?

http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2011-03-30-crysis-2-dx11-fix-in-2-3-months-report

According to this article, Crytek had only worked on the DX11 path from November onwards. I thought the engine would be able to port over and make the developmental process easier for the developers to finish this kind of work. I think honestly that 5 months would be enough to be able to recode the game with their engine, including focus on their apparently main focus of the console versions. The only way this didn't come together inside that time period was obviously poor planning and developmental idiocy that would render such relationships with the community on this matter moot and useless. So how come with at least 5 months of work on the game in that mode were they unable to finish this?

So now we have to wait the supposed 2-3 months period time that I guessed would happen in conjunction with their previous releases to get possibly an editor and DX11. Unfortunately, I think that this company will certainly be done for if they can not deliver longevity to the game within a reasonable amount of time, which I think is out of the window if they have to spend that long to recode. I can honestly say that with that long of a wait period to get something long-lasting for a game, most PC gamers would be moving on. I know I would.

Are you being sarcastic or do you have source on the confirmation of the source of this article?

My point is being if they had such a time frame to work on the game's DX11 path, it should be finished by now considering that they shouldn't need to overhaul all of their code with their engine. I'm just proposing that it was some kind of mistake in the developmental process that would make it so that DX11 couldn't land in the launch version of the game. The high likelihood of the "console first, PC later" mentality as it applies here would be one of the most convincing theories, seeing the obvious lack of details and attention the unpatched launch version had.

Also, a small request that may be of offense to you, but please try to type correctly in English so that I don't have to try and interpret your post. Thank you.
