Will you touch past TES games?

Currently playing Daggerfall

It's more difficult than any game I've played to date

It's fun but challenging (woohoo I finally got out of the first dungeon!)

I might play other TES games after Skyrim but I can't say for sure

I still play Daggerfall and Morrowind. I probably still will after Skyrim is released, too.

I play Morrowind still, more than Oblivion or either Fallout. Skyrim would have to be pretty amazing to keep me from playing Morrowind or Oblivion anymore.

after i got done with nerfblivion i loaded up morrowind jumped on the modwagon and played the crap out of it. If i get my new pc for christmas i will play it more

daggerfall and morrowind still kill most modern games, and morrowinds outdatedness is easily fixed with the right mods

Why certainly! Woo! woo! woo! Hmm i wonder if theres another woo after that?

I still play all past Elder Scrolls game and will continue to due to their endless replay value. Fortunately i even have a sci-fi alternative when taking a break from the fantasy genre with FALLOUT 3. Now all thats needed is something just as epic and replayable when it comes to the TERMINATOR and MECHWARRIOR game series. Strategy games on the other hand are made to be replayed from the get go and its all just a matter of whether a current pc system can play something from 1993 like EMPIRE or MACHIAVELLI, THE MERCHANT PRINCE.

I will never stop playing Morrowind.

I really, really, want to like Daggerfall. I do. I downloaded it as soon as Bethesda offered it for free, but... I can't get into it. I feel like I should, and I'm doing something wrong for not being addicted to it. :P

Me too. I think If I ever get past that damned Privateers hold, I will fall in love, but so far, I haven't had any luck.

I will play all of the ones that I currently play plus Skyrim. Lots of Morrowind, some Oblivion, less Daggerfall (By this I mean that I play Daggerfall less than Oblivion, not that I will play Daggerfall less in the future).

There is nothing wrong with this feeling - I dl it, played for a while and thought "whats the big deal?". Then I started adjusting controls and such... long story short, I currently have 3 characters, 2 actively following the main-quest. It is very enjoyable, despite the awful emptiness / lifelessness that those poorly conceived rowns NPC's give.

Curiously, I thought the option I voted - All except #1 - would be majority. I am still surprised (positively) about the impact Morrowind causes on the TES community.

It would be easier if there were an Imperial race in Daggerfall. I always play Imperials. :(

When they ask nicely, I can never resist, no might about it. Even, or especially if Skyrim ends up with a voiced male choir as the PC. wait, something wrong there.

Hell, I was just playing Morrowind earlier tonight, I still play Oblivion fairly frequently, and I even continue to give Arena a try every once in a while. I'll keep playing them all, even after Skyrim comes out.

I'll but Morrowind if I knew where they sell it and I'd play Oblivion again because it's an awesome game.

My first BGS game was Morrowind (GOTY). I was just cruising the game aisle at Walmart one day reading the boxes when I picked it up. I had never heard of it, or BGS, but thought they did a pretty good sale job with the description on the box, so I tossed it in the cart. My computer gaming days were forever changed. (I had been playing Ultima Online for years. After playing Morrowind for a couple months, I decided to give my house and all my stuff to my guild master to either distribute to other guild members or sell for gold for the guild, and cancel my account.)

I got the Oblivion CE the day the game hit the shelves. I got each expansion as soon as it was available on disk, and downloaded Fighter's Stronghold the day they posted it on the web site. I got the GOTY just to show support for Bethesda. I can't say I like Oblivion more than Morrowind, but I will say I like it for different reasons. Morrowind as a FRPG kicks Oblivion in the britches. The story and the characters in Morrowind are also better than those in Oblivion. But Oblivion still has enough going for it that it ranks number one on my all time favorite computer games list. That includes Betrayal at Krondor, Baldur's Gate, Icewind Dale (& II), and Diablo (& II). (Ultima Online wasn't really a "game" from my perspective. It was more of an interactive chat room where you could kill the other people and loot their corpse.)

Even if Skyrim lives up to all my expectations, and supplants Oblivion for number one as Oblivion supplanted Morrowind, I'll still keep playing the predecessors. Even if for no other reason than their being sentimental to me.

Was expecting the question to be "Will you touch past TES games now that Skyrim has been announced?" and I was already preparing for copious usage of  , but it was an actual serious question so I guess not :P

Personally? Yes. Of course I will, still haven't decently played Arena and Daggerfall (the last one being quite considering I actually bought Daggerfall far before it was free), and I intend to do so. Some time.

I will still be playing all of the ES games. I don't really see a reason why I should stop now.

Just going to be adding Skyrim to that list.s

Are you serious? Is this what gaming is supposed to be like these days? Do some people really stop playing a free-roaming epic like an ES game and move on to something new?

I still play Morrowind and Oblivion regularly, and not just because of mods. There are STILL things in there that I could do. I even play Arena and Daggerfall occasionally, despite the playability problems with new OSs.

No, I do not just put down a game when a sequel or updated version comes out!

I doubt I'll play much oblivion after Skyrim comes out. I'll definitely go back to Morrowind tho.

Might play Oblivion again after Skyrim (Depending how much of my soul Skyrim can steal) I would possibly go back to Morrowind and have a butch at it but it is on pc and is hassle to install.

Eh, I'm replaying games that are 25+ years old, and already played the previous TES games lots. Skyrim won't change this, just like Oblivion didn't stop me from revisiting Arena, Daggerfall, Battlespire, Redguard and Morrowind.

Don’t know probably not unless the game has issues. Stopped playing Morrowind before Oblivion was released but it was mainly because I knew where everything was, then you pick the four mushrooms needed for the mage guild quest and the flowers for the next one it’s a bad sign, then you don’t remember to have picked them because it’s something you do automatically like locking your door it’s critical, almost as I could put on boot of blinding speed and play as usual :) Not played Obivion that hard.
