I'll probably never stop going back to Daggerfall every so often. I doubt that Skyrim will be that great that it will completely surpass it in every way.

i'll go back to Daggerfall and Morrowind, definitely. i'm hoping Skyrim will finally be the push i need to let Oblivion die in the cold, though. Fallout 3 did a good job of it for a while, but i still came back to it. it's like a drug you don't actually like the effects of but every time you take it it gets this cute advertising jingle stuck in your head and even though you're passed out on the floor twitching and drooling and you've got spiders digging into your skin you've got that jingle stuck in your head and it makes it slightly less horrible than it would be otherwise.

honestly i've had Morrowind since like 2005 and i've been playing it since then and even without mods i've still barely scratched the surface of it. it's really the most complete game i've ever played - they filled it with everything, and it's all amazingly high-quality.

"I will likely never play another TES game besides Skyrim."

When I finnish a TES game Im finnished with it. After 500 hours of playing the game I feel that I have done what I whant to do. And I whant to keep the memories of how great it was when I played it. When i finnished Morrowind I swore that I would never play it again and I havent. I whant to remember it as I do and not try it again and get disapointed even slightly.
Same with Oblivion. Maybe in the fare future but knowing me I wont finnish Skyrim untill just before TES VI. I only finnished Morrowind days before Oblivion came out and I still got the X-pack to finnish on Oblivion (with I plan to do before Skyrim).

I've already played all of the major games except arena.

Oh you mean after skyrim, of course! I've got characters that need finishing in Daggerfall, Morrowind, and Oblivion.

FYI, you do know that 'Arena' was released for FREE to celebrate the 10th anniversary of 'The Elder Scrolls' series? No reason not to play it now.

As, for me I've played all 'The Elder Scrolls' games.. I'm split between Morrowind and Daggerfall as the best.. even though when first released Daggerfall was a nightmare due to CTD's, bugs, glitches..

I'll never stop playing Morrowind, and I'm sure I'll get back to Oblivion at some point too. For Daggerfall I'm waiting for http://daggerxl.wordpress.com/ before starting another playthrough.

I know 'Daggerfall' is free - but I still have my retail CD-Rom - I have downloaded it though, as a backup - just in case. Same goes for 'Arena', still have my retail CD-Rom.. Need to look up this 'DaggerXL' though - sounds intriguing.

They are ALL awesome games. Heck i started playing Daggerfall when i realised someone had auto-configured DosBox for it! Arena too! my huge impedemnt was being unable to get a stable framerate. Now that thas no longer a problem, i have two more chunks of elderscrolls to play!...I also have Oblivion game on my cellphone, which is godawful as far as i can tell. it fails game design 101: Have Something in Something Do Something. I assume theres a game thats more htan just a guy in an alley, but damned if ican find it >_>;
