Kind of hard to say. I usually just get really immersed in the game and the character more or less evolves into it's own being. Of course this is all in my head but that's what makes an RPG fun. But for all practical purposes I'll say a soldier.

My character will be widely seen in Vegas.

He will be a heavy gambler, and will pop a cap in your Fallout behind if you cross him. He will also be a wanderer but he will retain a permanent home in New Vegas in a penthouse suite in the Lucky 38 tower, whereas he will snipe securitrons from the roof and be a behind the scenes outlaw that secretly murders all of the important characters, therefor ruining the whole game.

That of course is my FIRST game play.^^^^

There should be a "Mercenary", and "Ranger" option.

I went with leigionaire reflecting my 1st character, but would've picked gangster for my 2nd

Hard to pick just one from the list. Mine will be a lot like Clint Eastwood in the Sergio Leone Westerns. He won't have much charisma because he let's his gun do the talking. He isn't evil but he doesn't conform to societies morals either. Probably will side with the people of NV (after killing House hopefully). But he doesn't dress like a cowboy more like Mad Max.

My characters name is going to be Eli. He is a hardcoe bad ass who is very nice and takes up for others. He is a soldier turned wastelander. He just wants to keep a normal life and stay away from trouble. That is until he gets shot in the head. Once he is shot and left for dead he is back and ready to effff up some bad guys. He will be a ranger/sniper. Boone will be his partner and Rex will be his sidekick.
