Never played it. Any chance you can go in game and get a screenshot of the map marker for it? :D

Here are a few early screens for you Strider. :foodndrink:

Thanks for the info, I have never played the mod for MW so this info helps a great deal :D, A lot of that is quest making, there would be some small scripting to place NPCs in the correct spots ect, Oh and the script for the profit.

What I was thinking on the profit side of things is the player earns it weekly (as you know) but the money is placed in a player owned chest, possibly in a player room?(Need your input Red). The money will get added every week regardless of whether the player picked up the previous weeks money. For me it seems like a more simpler way of doing things.

Well of course if the player is running the place they'll need their own room to stay in. :P Strider would you like it on the premises or a small cottage/home nearby?

Looks great WhoGuru! I'm working on the building textures now. I never textured a building before so this will be interesting.

IS: The chest idea is perfect, and obviously a lot less tedious. B)

That's good :D

Strider: How much do you want the player to earn per week?, well before and after hiring full staff?. Also I am thinking of the staff actually getting paid each week and their pay comes right out of the player's earnings. The player won't get quite as much but it will be more immersive I think.

Yeah that's cool. I'm not really sure as everyone usually get's up in arms if it's too much, but if it's not enough what's the point. What it tops out at around 3,000 a week less expenses? Is that too much? Not enough?

Also I think there were initial outlays of moeny to hire the various workers. Like travel fees and what not. Maybe we could add that to the cost of advancing the bar along with the weekly salaries.

Who: I was kinda thinking we could have the player residence in the bar, this way it forces you to hang out there, (I'm sure the bartender would get lonely otherwise ^_^ )

I'm unsure what the best amount is too, might have to do a but of experimenting. Initial outlays could be worked in, though exactly what the cost amounts are is something you'll need to decided :D

Actually you could base the cost on how far away the NPC is, so say you have a short quest to get a bartender and he is in Skingrad, well travel could be 100 gold or less, but if he were in say the IC that could be 200 gold or more.

Well we have plenty of time to decided while WhoGuru works her magic on the inn.

Inside it is Strider. :foodndrink: I'll give the player a nice little apartment in there. IS can put his chest in there as well when I've finished. :D

Edit: Also, I'll make all the containers in the Inn player safe so there's no confusion. :P

This sounds like a PERFECT idea for a mod, and I know it's the kind of thing that I would just have to download. I can't really offer any technical help yet, because I'm only hoping to look into the CS for the first time in the coming weeks, but if it's support / idea tossing around you're after, I'm all in!

 Those are brilliant! I love them! The sign is classic! You have to keep that last line! :P

As a suggestion for another barsign, I have a sign hanging in my kitchen. Very old from a bar that closed in the 1920's, It says "Proprietor not responsible for behavior when intoxicated." :lmao: If you want another idea.

Looks like great WIP mod!

Is there going to be any cattle outside? Or perhaps a servant / player needs to buy his wares from the local food market?
This would bring a lot of immersion with the mod, though it might be challenging due to compatibility / scripting.

Any ideas on Q's yet? I do have an idea im going to spam you with :)

Okay I have the profit script wrote, gonna test it to make sure there are no bugs. Should not be any becuase its rather simple :D

I was thinking about ordering in more stock, my idea is that you have to order in stock once a week. To do this the player will get prompted when the stocks are low (IE week has passed) they will then find an order form at the bar or in the player's room, from here the player uses a quick menu to order the stock, small costs will be taken directly from the player.

What do you think?, Also if you like it could you make a order form, kinda like the bar sign just smaller so it fits on a desk ect?
