Ok, I need some help. I have never been able to put in the time to finish Fallout and finally when I get around to it, I reach Rivet City and loading an important area it crashes at the same time. Loading screen comes up, finishes, screen goes back where its about to fade to the new area - CRASH, every single time. I can start a new game just fine and the game crashes occasionally when loading a game or a cell but up until now it has never been something that happened more than once.

My display and audio drivers are up to date, my graphics card is well above specs. I've done the fallout.ini multithread edit. I don't have ffdshow. I have disabled mods and crash still happens. I am at a loss.
