Win 7 - Steam - Crash after 10-30min.

Hallo everyone,

The borad is full of "Windows 7 - crash??" threads, so mine will probably be very similar. I haven't found a fix for my issue yet so I hope this thread will lead me in the right direction.

First off: My issue and situation:
I have Fallout 3 Game of the year on Steam and I can play the game for about 10-30min. then my game freezes.
This has not always been an issue to me - I played the game about 1 year ago without any problems - so the only changes from back then till now is hardware changes.

What is my build?
20 gb ram
Geforce GTX 660
i7 2600k
2x monitors

What I've tried:
1. Use only 1 monitor
2. Edit the fallout.ini file to use iNumHWThreads=1 and bUseThreadedAI=1
3. Update all drivers and make sure no mods are activated
4. Disable Vertical Sync.- all Anti-aliazing- run at lower resolution
5. Decrease the resolution (normally 1920x1200)

These are some of the fixes I've found online and none of them are helping me so far.

Any suggestions, idéas, comments and thoughts are more than welcome!
