I'm really getting frustrated. I'm at the spot where the 3 portcullises are opened by getting close to the 3 glowing stones. I'm pretty sure whirlwind sprint is how you are supposed to get through the doors but once won't get me through and they close before I can use it a second time. Can you really get through them without giving up and going tcl?

Sprint until you pass the 3rd stone then use a single whirlwind word...iirc you may still need to sprint thru the final gate after the whirlwind stops.

Sprint to the end of the stones and then use whirlwind sprint is how you do it, if I remember correctly.

This may get moved to spoilers, but here you go:

When you run past the 3 stones that "light up", use Whirlwind Sprint, pressing the shout key/button in quick succession. You should be able to pull off two quick Sprints and make it through the three gates. It's the only time I know of where you can does this.

It might take a couple of tries, but you should see what I'm talking about.

The few times I've done that quest I quickly run out of patience and use TCL. But then I have no interest in puzzles that rely on how fast or nimbly I can push buttons.
