Hi,

I recently started playing Skyrim after long hours of Oblivion and I do enjoy it a lot more than I though, unfortunately as it tends to happen a problem has cropped up.

The problem is that I get a crash whenever I try to transition in/from Windhelm or try to save in the area. I can walk to the city and the general area without problems, but if I try to get in it via any entrance it's a CTD. If I try to save my game nearby it CTDs. However, I can fast-travel to Windhelm, but once there, if I try to use the gate to get out it CTDs, I can only fast travel to a more distant location. The painful thing is that I'm using the Skyrim Character Manager and have 3 characters and this problem affects all of them, however, I created a new test character and it had no problems around Windhelm. Additionally, I'm using what I consider to be very few mods (compared to my Oblivion mods list ) so I don't even see what could be causing this. Any insight appreciated, thanks
