To make a long story short every time i try to launch the game it crashes I have patched the game, and to my knowledge have the newest drivers installed. So if someone can provide me with a solution i would greatly appreciate it.

Couple different things you can try.

Navigate to your install folder, find the oblivion.exe, right click on it, select Properties, or, personalize..... and find the funny little checkbox for "Run as Admin".

Or....

Find your install folder, right click on Oblivion (folder name), select properties, or personalize..... and turn of UAC for that folder, and all subfolders.

Or.....

Uninstall the game, and install it someplace OTHER THAN the program files directory. (default location) C:\Games\Oblivion for example.

Well I tried your suggestions, and they did not work. I have no idea what the problem is.

Post a dxdiag of your machine.

Could you give a little more detail on what you have done? Running any mods? GOTY edition?

First off this the first time I've tried playing Oblivion on my new computer so no mods or anything.
