Windows 8.1 graphics problems

Post » Tue Jan 07, 2014 6:40 am

I was running Morrowind (TES Anthology) just fine for a month and then I updated to Windows 8.1 a day or two ago. Then Morrowind loaded with an error that posted inside the game window (not a Windows error) saying something about 2D graphics. It asked me to press Ctrl + Alt + Ins to revert to something (can't remember, made sense at the time) and now all my graphics come out blurred, like double vision or a 3D movie when you don't have the 3D glasses on. I reinstalled and the same issue is there without any error messages or messing with the settings. I emailed Bethesda, called Geek Squad (huge mistake--they did nothing and reported the problem was fixed), and now I don't know what to do. Any help?

Solved. I found the same problem in another game forum. Somehow my 3D settings got turned on after the update. I have an NVIDIA GeForce GPU and all I had to do was:

Click on NVIDIA Control Panel
Click on "set up stereoscopic 3D" (on the left)
Uncheck the "Enable stereoscopic 3D"
