Windows live

Hi,

Quick question regarding the association with Windows live gaming

Will this game be running through the Windows live servers?

if so...
will you require to be logged in through the Windows live servers to play offline / online
and will there be the ability to have your own servers without going through any windows live servers at all?

sorry if this has already been answered somewhere else, I checked the FAQ and didn't see much.

Game is not on Windows Live

that would be great if its not on windows live
however, it does show on the bottom of this website that "games for windows" is a sponsor, so one might assume that windows live gaming might be in the boat aswell?
perhaps for security side of things (so people cant pirate the game easily)?

Games for Windows certification (not sponsorship) just means it complies with Microsoft's install parameters, not actually related to "Live"

The Games-For-Windows thingy mainly secures that the game supports the XBox360 gamepad.

BRINK uses Steam, though.

GFWL would be a good last resort if god forbid, this game game goes under to boost community.

BRINK using Steam is not really a good indicator if the game will use GFWL. There have been games that require both steam and GFWL.

However, there was no sign for a GFWL-support yet. Games For Windows, on the other hand is quite common already.
