Windows 7 'new game' crash

Post » Tue Oct 12, 2010 5:31 pm

i just purchased fallout 3. I got Windows 7 32b and an integrated video chipset on a I3core.

The game launches but when i try to start a new game, it crashes without error message, only : 'windows will try to find a solution' so far he hasn't.

i tried patching to 1.7>> no effect

anyone got a simple solution ?

IS that an Intel Graphics Chipset? Those won't run the game.

Assuming its a laptop, you arent able to upgrade. If its a desktop, you may be able to place a new GPU in there.

Before you buy a GPU, you should open up the case to see what PSU is in there. How many Watts and what brand is it. Also you should post a dxdiag to make sure you chose a GPU that isnt going to be bottlenecked by your CPU or RAM.
