Winhelm house

My house in windhelm has left over blood stains and body parts from Blood on the Ice quest, any way to get rid of this [censored]?

Go and speak to him, ask about decorations, and there should be an option to clean up the mess.

I just reloaded and re did it, you have to pick the clean up option as the very first one.

How were you able to buy the house? I don't see any optionto purchase it at all after doing teh blook on the ice quest.
