This quest is given by Drevis Neloren the illusion mage and called Out of Balance. This task left me with a Fortify Magicka +100 for 2 hours effect. Is this normal or a bug? There is discussion about it on the net. And I'm not sure. I do like that I could cast Lesser Ward and Flames forever for a change just like enemy mages. It felt ... well, fair.

That's the reward for the quest. You have infinite magicka while the effect lasts.
