Not to derail or anything, but did Fliggerty basically become God while I was away?


What do you mean "become?" :biglaugh:

Nah, I've just learned a bit more about using MWSE/MGE. :shrug:

Definetly finish the enslaving part of this mod. The best enslaving mod is VE nad slavers but those have fatal flaws. You can only enslave VE with vampires and you slavers is glitchy.

I tried to get on your web but the code for registration was immposible to see. Will the OBStyle spellcasting have new aminations or will it be like the other one where you just press c and the spell just happens ???

Flig is this to be implemented fully with MWSE? I was thinking of a mod which lets you use spears one-handed whilst a spear equipped(ala 300) but can't seem to see anyway of detecting a shield with MWSE. Reference Type armour and Has Item Equipped would work, if your character was naked... Getarmortype only tells you the weight class AFTER you tell it the slot. Hmm, lord knows how Aerlorn did it ME's language is like japanese

I've managed to identify any piece of armor by force equipping it on an invisible NPC. This NPC has nothing else in inventory, so when I call GetArmorType I know exactly what I have.

I've been mulling over a lot of aspects of this mod today....

No. One of my purposes in building the PC-improvement half of this is to provide an alternative to those who won't/don't/can't use MWE. Although it must be said that is far from my main motivator...I just wanted to have some fun and see what I can do to control combat via my scripts. :hehe:

Ok, enough guys. Fligg is around constantly (in fact he was last active Today, 07:37 PM). I'm sure if he had anything new to say on this he would say it. There's no need for all the bumping, they just confuse the other people who are waiting for word and think that when the thread rises to the top of the forum it's because there's more news.

Time for ressurection? Anyway, what I'd really like to see, if possible, is to have the NPCs play an animation to actually move out of the way when the dice are in their favour and the attack fails. Contrary to popular opinion, I don't think oblivion's combat was terribly realistic at all- you shouldn't always be able to hit someone just because "your crosshair is on it". Morrowind was just missing the visual element. and perhaps the player could do this manually? or a combination of the two
