A fountain might look better in place of the well...if there are any good fountains out there that would fit in with Balmora.

I don't know, the elite area having a seperate water supply makes sense actually. Perhaps if it was more elaborate, like being on top of a Hlaalu platform or something.

I'll go along with what Syrcanus and tronvillain said. Perhaps either make it a fountain or make the well look fancier (I'd suggest removing the "overhang" part and maybe placing hlaalu style buttresses around the edges of it).

Actually I had in mind to put a fountain there, but haven't found a decent one yet.. ideas? Sure I could go with tronvillain's idea but it would be awesome with a fountain :)

How about http://img149.imageshack.us/img149/8742/hlaaluwell.jpg If you have a good idea for a Hlaalu fountain in mind, you could also add put that into the well, I suppose.

It's actually just four Hlaalu wall pieces stuck together and lowered into the ground. Hlaalu buttresses were attached for extra ornamental effect. The water is the water from Vivec's palace since I couldn't be bothered finding anything smaller, but if you have a smaller water mesh around, that would probably be better.

There's a NoM well in that exact spot.

Oh, can I get permission to use it? If so, would you please send me the files

I may remember wrong, or things may have changed since the last time I played with NoM installed, but I think the well featured in that location in NoM is just a regular well like the one you placed there, except that it's functional for NoM purposes.

The well used by NoM is a Hlaalu well (the original model is by Nicholiatan) and it's different from the standard nord well I see in that pic. You can find it in the NoM package (you can download it following the link in my signature) along with other water sources and many new meshes introduced by NoM. They're free to use as long as you mantain the object ID used in the NoM esp, so that the new objects you add to the game world will be recognized by the NoM scripts and will function accordingly. I want to make clear that doing so will make your mod compatible with NoM but not dependant on NoM.
If you need more explanations you can PM me.

Ok it looks like I didn't misread it, or to say, misunderstood it (as it's fixed now).

So, if I got this, you're editing cities and stuff, right? Why do you call this a TC? :P

I've fixed everything that's been mentioned in previous posts, including the ones in the New Cites Project thread.

Update..

I haven't had time to work on this for a while, been working a whole lot lately, and this seem to be the scenario for the weeks to come. Thus I won't be able to release a full version of this mod at Christmas, as planned. But I can promise you this, I WILL release it eventually. Perhaps I've got enough time to release a public BETA at Christmas. We'll see.

You can also follow this mod at: http://www.moddb.com/mods/morrowind-rebirth

I'm happy to test.

This mod has been on my wishlist for the longest time! I just can't get around the seemingly lifeless towns now. Especially Caldera, it just annoys me.
