wow I still can't believe it's not butter. those screenshots look great.

Yeah I churned that butter into well better butter with bit of flavoring has well to it..

It hard to believe how much a vanilla texture can change sometimes how some things look with just a few changes.

Just beautiful :icecream:

thanks for the icecream ..enjoy

I just noticed a spot with blend not right also, http://i558.photobucket.com/albums/ss28/myrrdin35/Vibrant%20textures/ScreenShot0.jpg (close up) and http://i558.photobucket.com/albums/ss28/myrrdin35/Vibrant%20textures/ScreenShot2-1.jpg (location is between Waymet Inn and the Fort across the road). Sorry the pics aren't too clear, a very cloudy day.

Hi again, Corepc.

Installing the 156 update noticed that it almost completely overwrites a mod called Enhanced Vegetation

Do you know of this mod?

It
1) has High-Res textures versio;
2) Costs no FPS loss according to the author and
3) Comes with option of resized trees (which is I use it mainly for but I can always go back to Natural Vegetation 200% and stick to your textures)

What would you say should I use? Your textures or Enhanced vegetations?
I've never had problems with your textures and never had problems with Enhanced vegetation
As one overwrites the other, there is no apparent reason to use both.
What do you say, Corepc?
To keep Enhanced vegetation or disable?

Thanks, once I figure out which one is causing the problem will get it fixed up. I thought I found it but it was the one..Most of these bad blends happen where one cell border end and another cell border start or along lod quads has well I have noticed..

I would like to hear from other people if they have noticed anymore in particular around Leyawiin ..

Either Use my Vibrant Tree Textures and Tree Billboards and esp for Enhanced Vegatation if you want that effect

or

Use Enhanced Vegetation Textures and Billboards

You do not want to mix my textures with ev texture they are very different once again..

I would like to uninstall qtp3 redimized (performance problems) and install your vibrant textures. Can I just install them on top of qtp3 or I should unsintall qtp3 before?

if it was me I would install qtp3 first so that you get rid of those qtp3 meshes has well..

then do the vibrant install

Install http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=10739
Install http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=9969

  • Install http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=18430 - overwrite any from UOP if asked, has they are same, this is normal map replacer that increase detail of depth of image's and quaility, vibrant textures work's along side these to increase color detail, sharpness, depth also..

  • Suggested for New Grass Types Install http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=9276 now or later if you want dg grasses instead of mine see below - do not overwrite any from UOP, Bomret Detailed Normal Maps, if asked

  • Install for Grass Performance Increase http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=12280 - Level 0 - SL - to maintain imaqe quaility on with variable length for both short and long grasses types..
    which DG uses..

  • Install Vibrant Textures - Overwrite any when asked

  • Install Vibrant Textures SI - Overwrite any if asked but if pure vanilla users then you will not be asked.

  • Install Vibrant Architecture - Remember this has a Omod Script to determine what you want to install..Assuming you use a full install then ,
Overwrite any from UOP, Bomret When Asked,

  • Install Vibrant Architecture SI - Omod Script Install..Choose your options. Overwrite any if asked. but pure vanilla then you will not be asked..

  • Install Vibrant Clutter - Omod Install..Choose your options..

  • Install Vibrant Clutter SI - Omod Install..Choose your options

  • Install Vibrant DistantLod - Choose either 1024 or 2048 Version for Distant Color Maps

  • Install Vibrant DistantLod Si - choose either 1024 or 2048 Version for Distant Color Maps

  • Install Vibrant Distant Normal 1.1 - this contains both oblivion and si lod normal maps..

  • Install Grain Filter

  • Install Vibrant Weather - Install Vanilla Weather Enhancements, only tested with Enhanced Weather/ All Natural no other weather mods..

  • Install AWLS - http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=19628- overwrite uop, bomrets, vibrant mine when asked..when you install both meshes (uop) and textures (uop, bomret, vibrant)

  • Optionial - Medium to High End Users..

  • Install RAEVWD - http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=20053

Thank you for the answer. However, since I didn't made an OMOD of qtp3 I would like to know what do you suggest as an uninstall method. Its such a large mod...

download the qtp3 omod and install that then uinstall it is best way..

or

else just install everything in order that I posted above starting with UOP and overwrite all when asked..So that qtp3 meshes get overwritten by UOP ones..

Bomret Detailed Normal Maps will overwrite QTP3 ones and my Vibrant Textures will Overwrite QTP3 Textures..

CorePC-

I'm finally getting around to packing these up in BAIN collections and had a question about the SI textures. I know that you recommend using the Normal Maps of Bomret with the tamriel textures, but what about his SI normal maps?

What concerns me is that there are meshes with those, so if I package a BAIN archive so that the default is Bomret's SI Meshes and Textures and then have your textures as an alternate that can be installed on top of that - will that cause problems.

Or more simply - can I use your textures with both his normal maps and the meshes he made for SI?

Also - I guess there is no Bomret (or any other) enhanced Normal maps for SI Plants and Trees. I can't find any ... do you know of any?

thanks

I have not fully looked at Bomret SI yet..HIs textures and normal maps are much larger than vanilla would be and also they could be little diffrent..They are High Rez once again..

But the meshes just have parllax mapping enabled on them. So parallax mapping will only show up if the alpha channel on both texture and normal are set right. And well most of the SI stuff did not have that activated to begin with..

And no Bomret Enchanted Normal Maps for SI (Vanilla Sized) Yet at least..I have though about converting them back down to vanilla size to include with Mine..All Credit to bomret of course..

Will have to look into after I get the Overhaul done..and have a little more free time per say..

May 27 2010 - BETA 1.56 Posted See Post 2

Vibrant DistantLOD and Vibrant Texture Enhancements Replacer

http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=18677 or

http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=OblivionMods.Detail&id=5384

Nov 15 2009

- Fixed Issue with Incorrect Alpha Channel Information that was causing pink puffy clouds and pink sewers exit with All Natural.
- All Vibrant Weather Both Cryodiil and SI Textures now have correct Alpha channel added back to them has well.
- Tweaked Sun to be More Elipsed
- Tweaked Sun Glare to be More Intensive

Sept 05,2009 - Vibrant Distant Normal 1.31
Fixed One that I missed corrected to dxt5/512x512/Alpha Info Added and hand corrected anomlies has well

Sept 02, 2009 Vibrant Distant Normal 1.3 Uploaded

[snip]
What is the version of the upgrade released Nov 15 2009 on tesnexus? I'm just little confused because I saw mention of v1.5 and Beta 1.55 in the release history (Post 2) and wasn't sure what version I already downloaded from tesnexus. Looking at the file dates on tesnexus, two files match the date 11-15-9: Vibrant Weather Textures 1-3 and Vibrant Weather Textures for SI 1-3. But then I see the file Vibrant Distant Normal 1-31 which is dated 9-5-9.
Sorry, I have formal software testing background. :P

A possible bug report here? I've got Vibrant Textures installed (all of them) and Bomret's Detailed Normal Maps for Vanilla, so I'm posting it here.

In http://i617.photobucket.com/albums/tt255/WrinklyNinja1/Oblivion%20Bugs/Oblivion2010-07-2111-45-44-75.jpg, the snow on the ground has a terribly pixelated effect. This is the case of an awful lot of snow textures in my game, including those on rocks, though the rock in the picture doesn't really show it. I was wondering what would be the cause for this, and whether there's a possible fix available?

Yes there is something I can do about to replace the horrible vanilla snow texture that does not look like snow..With a texture that look more like snow..

It is combo of both my changes to vanilla texture and bomret normal map.

===

I have redone both snow texture and normal map. Brand New Texture and Normal Map to replace the old ones. Snow will shine in light depending on how it reflects. Also Sun has affect on how it looks Hence why in this pic some areas are brigther than the other. Vibrant Sun at 12:00 the texture is pure white almost..this was taken at around 2:00 pm..

http://i131.photobucket.com/albums/p305/corepc/ScreenShot493.jpg
http://i131.photobucket.com/albums/p305/corepc/ScreenShot494.jpg

try these out, and turn on your AnsiTropicFiltering has well at least 4x..Not AntiAlaising (since you are using OBGE)

http://www.4shared.com/file/wX8n8okQ/VibrantSnowRevised.html

adding two more pics one at stables during foggy weather and one of texture itself..
