WIP. Um right place to put this?

The Cyris Isles.

No particular story (well there is but not implimented as yet), just completed the islands (some of them) and a fair amount of the village, inside & out.

Just wanted some critism if possible just via a few screen shots (below).

There are no mods installed only mine (& Rins beauty shop (not really used), Bobs Armoury (cos I wanted new clothes but couldn't be bothered making them) and of course BB) and I dont have shadows on or distance too high in the shots, I don't like either because my eyes are crap anyway at my age and I really can't tell the difference with or without rofl

All the characters so far have lots and lots of dialogue, all lore friendly with Morrowind and all replies depend on disposition, weather, male/ female, class etc etc.
Disposition of the NPC's can be changed by talking about things they like/ don't like or buying them a drink.

There is a quest for an optional companion (can take her or leave her after a long chat and a drink on the beach)

The main story around the isles is pretty much a tourist place, populated mostly by soldiers on leave from the various forts around MW taking a break. The main quest will involve a love type story between a Dark Elf & a Nord (already married), simply put they're deeply in love and he's growing old. She of course isn't seeming older so you will be employed somewhere/ somehow to either find a way to make him live as long as the Elf would or find a way to make her age with her husband - happy ever after sort of thing.

There are several other quests already finished, pretty much just side quests including "Sick note", convincing the commander at Frostmoth that one of his soldiers is too sick to return, "Delivery boy", acquiring refined moon sugar for a bunch of off-duty (hippy) soldiers on the beach, "Match", finding a mate for a lonely Nord waitress and a bunch more.

All new textures are mine (mostly done in a rush) I've added no new meshes (as yet) except a few trees.

Don't hurt me too much lol I'm old and frail and my ticker can't take it!!!!

Thank you in advance. :)

P.S. Some shots are just captures from the editor so lighting etc is crappy.

Yep, this is the right place to post this. ;)

Looking good so far! I like your waterfall in "http://i1205.photobucket.com/albums/bb431/Simon_Griffiths/Cyris%20Isles/Horse%20Shoe%20Bay/SS12.jpg". You have used an interesting mix of flora and fungi on your islands...

I noticed that in the screenshot "http://i1205.photobucket.com/albums/bb431/Simon_Griffiths/Cyris%20Isles/Horse%20Shoe%20Bay/SS10.jpg" the terrain seems a bit bumpy and jagged and looks like it could be smoothed out a bit. It also seems a bit barren and empty around your buildings in comparison to the surroundings, but that may be 'cause you are still working on it.

Overall, it looks promising. Keep up the good work! :)

I like it very well designed and quite pretty I've always wanted to see a cave with a huge waterfall inside falling into a huge pool like in the smoo cave in durness scotland

Thanks both of you. I am looking for foliage to pad it out a bit in the town but at the moment been working mostly on dialogue and different responses but I will get around to that. And yes there are some jagged bits as I smooth them over as I fill each section so not to miss any (but of course I will lol)

Durness!!! Yes I am there last year missiri, that is pretty much the idea I was thinking :) (I live in England so going up to Scotland is a quick drive away)

Edit/ Ok missiri you got me lol, off to bed now but tomorrow I think I will make a mesh (or mess!) of smoo cave or at least a few low poly fit-togethers to achieve a similar thing.

Love pic 1 and 2 I've been to a few places like that in Spain and Iran. The trouble is with underwater meshes is the polycount really. I spent a few days once making corals etc and I ended up hardly moving........the staligtites are very possible I suppose, I wonder if someones already made them? Or do I have to open Milkshape again >.<
