That is great news to hear, I can't wait for the update. I would hate to see this effort stop, Quatloos deserves it.

She always had very encouraging yet critical comments. She commented on my first released mod actually and greatly helped too!

She did :)
Since I first joined pes I would look for her comments to decide if a mod was any good or not. She was always very fair.

Nope, still going! I can't speak for the rest of the mod but the landscape is just about done.

Fliggerty told me she is doing fine about a month ago. She's probably just waiting on Racoonism .

No pressure to Raccoonism, but I am in fact waiting on her work. Which, I have to say from what I have seen, is beyond worth the wait. She is doing some really stellar work. :goodjob: (curses that there are no cheer smileys here)

I haven't posted as I have no modding skills. But just a 'Hi there' to show lots of gamers are out here checking in every now and again, in order to add this shrine to this great lady.

Please tell me you guys are still in operation? It would be a great shame to have this project end now, and it's all we as a community can give to let her spirit reside in us all, even if it is just a simple game mod. Keep up the good work, I'm sure she's smiling at you all even now ^.^

Never really knew Lord Devil/Quatloos as I am fairly new to these parts, but I must certainly say that I appreciated the many mod reviews she posted - very insightful - and from what I have seen around here, she was certainly a highly active member of this community. Her passing is simply a tragedy, and my condolences go out to her friends and family.

In regards to this project, one thing I thought of after seeing this was to possibly make a Great Morrowind Memorial. I seem to recall that Bethesda had actually done something like this as an "easter egg" in the original game:

There are three unique ashes in Morrowind:

* Ashes of G. Lyngas, located in Ravel Ancestral Tomb. There are also four Glass Throwing Stars in this urn.
* Ashes of Lord Brinne, located in Samarys Ancestral Tomb. There is also the Mentor's Ring in this urn. Lord Brinne was the online name of an Elder Scrolls fan who died unexpectedly during the development of Morrowind. The urn, and his ashes, were placed in the game as a tribute.
* Ashes of D. Bryant, located in Falas Ancestral Tomb. There is also the Denstagmer's Ring in this urn.

These three are all dedicated to former regulars at The Elder Scrolls Forums, all of whom passed away during production.

Not to mention Grumpy as well, which I saw mentioned in a previous post.

Perhaps these could be incorporated into this memorial as well, and it could be continued to be updated as needed to pay respects to any whom pass from this community. Just something that I thought might be kind of nice, but this is certainly not my project.

I also wouldn't mind appearing as an NPC for something like this, though I will need to get some dialogue developed for you to use with that.

It's been a long time sence I've been on here and I'm glad to see that the cause hasn't stopped. Can somebody give me the link to the last update of all the progress so far. I'd love to see how it's turned out so far.

Raccoonism your work there is astoundingly beautiful and realistic. And the realistic part just means that it blends SO well, it all totally looks like it belongs exactly where it is. This is very exciting and I am SO very thankful for all of your work and time. Thank you! Thank you!

Very good job indeed!

I am also intrigued by the plant meshes in http://s94.photobucket.com/albums/l115/Raccoonism/LD%20mod%20Landscape/?action=view¤t=TESConstructionSet2009-01-0411-38-3.jpg. Were they made for this mod?

If I might be able to be included as an NPC, I have some info for you on how it could be compiled somewhat. In the info here, the stuff covered in ( ) is if my previous idea to incorporate a tribute to Grumpy were to be included with this mod, if not it could be dropped. Other than that, you are welcome to use this (or not) as you will:

Character Name: Red Eye
Character Race: Dark Elf
Hair: Long, White, Braid in back
Face: Scar over one eye
Clothing: Elegant White Robes of some kind

--------
GREETING
--------

Greeting 1 [Not Met]: "Greetings, my friend, and welcome to the shrine for Morrowinds fallen heroes. Have you come to pay your respects to Lord Devil (and Grumpy)? You should find this place to be suitable for your reflections. Or perhaps there was something I could help you with?"

Greeting 2 [Met]: "Three blessings and well met, (PC Name), I was thinking back on some of the words shared with (my dear companions,) Lord Devil (and Grumpy). Was there something I could help you with?"

------
TOPICS
------

Lord Devil: "You can shed tears that she is gone, or you can smile because she has lived. You can close your eyes and pray that she'll come back, or you can open your eyes and see all she's left. Your heart can be empty because you can't see her, or you can be full of the love you shared. You can turn your back on tomorrow and live yesterday, or you can be happy for tomorrow because of yesterday. You can remember her only that she is gone, or you can cherish her memory and let it live on. You can cry and close your mind, be empty and turn your back. Or you can do what she'd want: smile, open your eyes, love and go on."

(Grumpy: "If I could reach up and hold a star for every time you've made me smile, the entire evening sky would be in the palm of my hand, but no possession is gratifying without a companion.")

(Star: "Perhaps they are not stars, but rather openings in heaven where the love of our lost ones pours through and shines down upon us to let us know they are happy.")

Love: "If the people we love are stolen from us, the way to have them live on is to never stop loving them. Buildings burn, people die, but real love is forever."

(Companions: "It is a comfort to the unfortunate to have companions in woe.")

Shared: "Remember to be gentle with yourself and others. We are all children of chance and none can say why some fields will blossom while others lay brown beneath the August sun. Care for those around you. Look past your differences. Their dreams are no less than yours, their choices no more easily made. And give, give in any way you can, of whatever you posses. To give is to love. To withhold is to wither. Care less for your harvest than for how it is shared and your life will have meaning and your heart will have peace."

Thank you! :)
Those plants came from Karen Young (a.k.a. Clavis), who kindly let us use them in the Memorial Mod as a resource.
