At first I just thought this was going to be like Atmospheric Sound Effects (which is a fine mod) but I love how you're combining it with lighting effects and scripting effects.

Can't wait to see more. :)

 This is amazing! It'll only do the lightning strikes when there's a thunderstorm outside, right?

Anyway, this is absolutely fantastic! It'll really make the world feel more connected, and easier to keep track of time. Does this happen in all interiors, such as caves and dungeons though?

currently the lightning effects are only in 3 houses which I created, but when I make the actual mod, the effects will be in any interior that would realistically allow for lightning to shine through. And the rain sound will be in any interior that would realistically allow you to hear the rain when inside.

And yes, the effects only happen during their triggering weather situations.

So it would take pretty long to cover every interior in Vvardenfell?

You posted a 1:23 video which consists of 1:22 of a solid black screen with a disembodied torch light and a few flashes of purplish things that resembled tombstones. At the end there was about a 1 second flash of a visable scene with a city and ship. Couldn't really tell much of anything from the 1 second of viewable image. When making video always start them during the games daylight hours. For interiors it's a good idea to use a constant effect night eyes. The only time it's appropriate to post night shots would be to show off lighting effects. But that requires there to be lights to have an effect.

I thought it was superb. And very watchable.

You might want to take a look at http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=3846 mod - maybe you can get permission to use his superb sound emitter scripts and save a bit of time (plus some other mods already include compatibility patches for it). ;)

Not really. Most interiors have closed windows, so all I'd have to add is the sound triggers. And a lot of caves are in rock, so I probably wouldn't add sounds to those cells cuz I doubt if you were in a rock cave, you'de be able to hear much of anything outside.

This is a beautiful mod for a great game! I love darker graphics, and this is just great for it. I'm hoping I'll see a release of it soon enough!

Wow thanks for the suggestion, I just downloaded that mod and was poking around a bit, and I found out that you can detect the current weather of the exterior region even in an interior cell. Now I have to re-make all the scripts but that saves me a lot of future trouble!

Very nice, I'll be looking forward to this definately. I agree only windows per town interior should be bothered with.

UPDATE:

I have all of Seyda Neen completed to the point where I would like to gat a 3rd party tester to try this out. Anyone willing? I would post a download link but I can't seem to log into my website. Believe me, once I finish one city and get the bugs worked out, the rest will be a breeze.

I bet you already have your batch of testers. I wouldn't mind testing it for you either.
I have an almost clean, only graphically updated MW as testbed & on laptop.
