Looking good! :D

Just a thought: the dunmer windows are heavy-set, small, and tinted green. I doubt they actually let much light through - which makes sense, if you are living in a region where there are perpetual ash storms.

Just wanted to add to the heaps of praise; excellent! Very excellent.

Has there ever been any game with this sort of devoted modding community? Nope.

The Half-Life series, Super Mario World (snes ROM), GTA games, Oblivion, you just gotta look. ;)

Not to make this a discussion of this slightly OT matter but are you not forgetting that Half Life is made by professionals?

What I meant to say is that I can hardly compare the scope of mods released for MW on an every day basis to anything on the internet as I know it. I love modding, Quake has many but it's not as active, Unreal has many and they are a really talented bunch but yet again, not as active at least in the rate of released mods. I have no real data to back this up either then experiance which kind of does not support my idea.

What I mean when I say scope is only the scope of release mods per day basis, and also a bit comparative to the year of the release of the game.

Also, Source engine has many mods, and Valve makes good use of the modders, making their work seen through steam, a real win win but I'd say MW would still have an edge.

Again, many modders in other communeties are very devoted and work hard, but nowhere else have I personally witnessed such scope, everything from some releases per day to 3rd party programs, new discoveries from time to time etc.

Not trying to argue here, everyone can have their opinion of course.

amazingly well done, I just returned my eye to Morrowind, and seeing the things that are now being made is really amazing.
To be honest, I did not think that the game would just be able to do this kind of stuff.

Now, i do must say that I'm thinking that it should be possible to more automate your work.
Knowing the objects that should let light through and those that emit light and such by their name, shouldn't it be possible to write a script that loops through all these and adds the necessary effects automatically?

(I don't know if it's possible, it has been quite a long time since I opened TES)

Keep up the great work, though!

Yes, Half Life 1 was made by professionals, but it wasn't made with the source engine now was it ;)
Its being remade by the community, and its almost done.

Yep, that's what I'm talking about.
Its safer to assume someone will know what Half Life 1 remake is compared to Black Mesa source :P

This seems realy promissing... could you, once it's released, add a little guide in the readme so people can do it with their own favourite mods?

Zich is last active in June 18 so I guess he must have RL issues or something

This is still true, so I guess he?s not working on it currently. But I very much like the effects in the video, so I hope he?s not online because he?s working so hard on this mod :)

I've been waiting for a good lighting mod! This looks amazing! I for one like the blue color of the lightning flash. Makes it look like an old horror movie :D
