magic OPTIONAL

omg the misses that happen and how long they take its like "NO I do not want to watch this"

on legendary 10/10 kill cams dont = a kill and can very much get you killed due to NOT BEING ABLE TO MOVE

also just love it when it kill cams and the enemy isn't even in the path of the projectile

All killcams should be toggable. However, I like them very much... that is IF they actually worked properly.

There are those that don't like them and feel they take them out of the immersive element. I, on the other hand, feel they increase the experience. Still, I oppose the way they are implemented and even undergo the measures of utilizing a mod to remove them all.

The two main reasons are...

  1. It fires when an archer is shooting down and the arrow hits the edge of the rock the character is perched on.
  2. It fires on the character and ends in sudden death when you have the possibility of either dodging or even blocking the incoming shot.

Yes I would have definitely liked them optional as I ALWAYS get kill cams on giant spiders and being arachnophobic I really don't need to be taken right up into the face of those creatures. *shivers*

There is a certain failed killcam I always use to get when archery and magic killcams were first added.
The killcam was when using a bow/crossbow. You would just stand there and not fire the arrow/bolt and you could be killed. after a month or 2 I figured out a way to prevent it and it hasnt happened since then.

The failed killcam only happend to me when I tap the trigger to fire an arrow/bolt. to avoid it I hold the trigger for atleast 3 seconds and I never get the fail to shoot arrow/bolt killcam.

I wish there was an option to toggle it on and off as well.... theres nothing worse than using a bow in open combat and having the killcam show up for every kill

I love my archery kill cams i just wish that you could move the damn camera to get a better angle for a screenshot then be stuck in the cutscene an sure ive got some good screenshots but thats mainly by luck of the camera looking at the target an not just the arrow all the way.

Like http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v299/QUARREL/2013-06-09_00044_zpsf53393f4.jpg~original and http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v299/QUARREL/2013-06-09_00006_zpsc5032b6e.jpg~original one but id love to be able to get more of the scene in the shot rather then just the kill

Optional would be nice. I do like them, as i enjoyed them in Fallout. But why they took the most gamey aspect & not the hardcoe role play elements is bizarre. I'd love to have a viable (no enchants or heavy gauntlets) hand to hand build with the kill cams as it's awsome, but they could't even be bothered to implement it, so no surprise. The game is great overall, but it always leaves you with those 'what were they thinking?' moments.

That would be awesome, it in killcam position and a arrow going straight into the guy's forehead.

Kilcams are cool then done right, however its just stupid to get them for killing an mudcrab.

They can be a bit stupid during stealth, hunting deer most of all, you shoot one, get killcam who let the other run away.

That's rather rare in my game, I don't see any reason to complain.

Killcams are those climix moments that make combat twice as epic.

The archery kill cams are great when you make near impossible shots, like at that bandit camp/ bridge east of white run. I was standing on one side, saw the bandit head down the other tower on the opposite side of the river so I shot an arrow through a small narrow window on the opposite side of the river and miracously hit the bandit dead on..... That was an amazing kill and worthy of the kill cam.

Other times it just gets annoying and I really wish they had a toggle for that exact reason.

Heh, the title had me for a moment. I was thinking," Didn't they make kill cams for archery, though?" :D

Had a few faulty ranged kill cams myself, particularly with a Staff of Firebolts versus a wolf. At least twice in a row it went into kill cam mode and missed.

I don't mind misses but they're rare for me and it's usually one of those moments where I think "oooh you got lucky, dodge this one..." as my next arrow finds its mark ;)

I started my first pure archer not long ago and I'm really enjoying this character and the sweet kill cam shots I pull off. It didn't trigger a kill cam (unfortunately) but last night I hit and killed a wisp from just within my line of sight and it felt good

The kill cam has messed up my shots all the time preventing me from killing the enemy in 1 shot and alering them to my location.

I've had some epic archery kill cams where it seems like the arrow is flying for miles in slow mo only to hit a bandit right in the throat. Only time I have problems with it is near a ledge/wall where occasionally the arrow won't go where I'm aiming. Magic kill cams however.....glitch on me all the time and I end up either missing or not killing the enemy with the projectile

All killcams should be optional and they should fix the glitches with the projectiles missing. Also, they should have automatically removed your shield in certain killcams because it clips terribly through enemies and dragons on certain occasions.
