One can argue which of the choices should be the defaults, I could care less. I just want more options, more customization (not all of us, even most of us necessarily, play on the PC). Hopefully the options I've included are realistic and only mean script changes vs. coding engine changes. In that light, please don't suggest changes that are likely to require major game overhauls since, well, we all know that wouldn't be included as part of a simple "Options Pack".
Otherwise, suggest, argue, discuss, hijack, kidnap, terrorize, and troll away.

New customizations included in the Options Pack:
1) Difficulty
Slider(s) (a la Oblivion)
-and / or-
Split into settings for "Attack Damage" and "Damage Taken", so that, e.g., if I'm RP'ing a typical "glass cannon" I can set their atk-dam to 1x (i.e., Adept lvl) but set their dam-taken to 2x (Master lvl).
2) HUD Preferences
Let me customize, not just on or off. Personally, I'd like the compass on, the crosshairs on, but no landmark or enemy markers. Others may want other combinations.
3) Map
- 3d or 2d (classical)
- Environmental (i.e., clouds, night on/off)
4) Kill Cams
Off - Rare - Normal - Frequent
5) H/M/S Regeneration
Health: Off - Slow (a la Obvlivion) - Normal
Magicka: Off - Slow - Normal
Stamina: Slowed (faster than above slows) - Normal
6) Food, Drink, Rest* Required (Stamina penalties?)
Food: Off, 8hrs, 12hrs, 24hrs
Drink: off, 8hrs, 12hrs, 24hrs
Rest: off, 24 hrs, 36 hrs, 48 hrs
*(Unless Bedroll items, or the like, come to consoles, Wait counts same as Sleep.)
7) Skill Exp. Gain / Leveling Speed
Slowest - Slower - Normal
(subsets for different skills or skill types?)
8) Idle pvssyr Frequency (directed at character)
Less - Normal - More

I don't know about y'all, but just the above options would be a great improvement for me and my immersion for the first character that gets to utilize them. However, I'm sure there are some options that I've forgotten or plain haven't thought of ....
