Hi I've decided to put up a poll on the forum to get feed back on what people might think would go better in games that Bethesda releases.

The Choices are my suggestions and I'm quite happy to add any you might have as well. I think listening to the fans of this genre of game would be very beneficial for the company and so please take part, pick what you would like to see in game and also comment and talk about why.

I've chosen to explain the last choice to allow you the opportunity to choose or not choose based on an informed decision.

What I mean by Visible weapons is this....If you have lets say these items in your inventory.
(items have to be in a quick slot/ hot keys)

1h Sword + Shield - Would be permanently visible on the Waist and Back of your Character even if not equipped.

Staffs (For those Mages out there) would be used as a walking cane until used in combat.

And also I might also list some weapons combinations in the poll right at the bottom for you in a 4rd part just for weapon combinations.

The fine hat kind of resembles a less silly looking one, I've noticed, but it is still no substitute.

I feel like the Game Industry needs to take the next step, I hope that Bethesda will take that step and launch the game industry into a new era of games, The reason for this topic is to get Bethesda to notice what their fans want from a role playing open world game that is based on realism and fantasy. Which they pull of fantastically by the way. I feel like having such a small area of game play on the newer more advanced systems is too much of a waste and needs to be fully explored.
I know having a game that contains all of the above suggestions and more that I will list will most likely be a dream, but I was once told that dreaming is for people who can't go after what they want. So here I am trying to get my Foot in the door so to speak. I'm great at using my Imagination and I think that letting Bethesda know that people like me can help further their goals and potential income would create a bridge where people who play the games sold by companies get to give their thoughts and hopefully have a small or even major impact on the gaming world would prove beneficial to the companies.

Todd Howard once said that Bethesda has a tendency to think to insanely and do you know what. who cares, do it. think big....because there is no one better at free roam, role playing games than you are. I would like to sell Ideas to game companies, but I don't think any could handle the Ideas that I have. I might not be blessed with great grades but my mind always chucks out new ideas and I've been known to write a good storyline when put my mind to it. I don't know much on how to present game Ideas and I certainly would like to try, I don't excel at art and I really am useless at 3d work, coding and stuff like that but hey, who cares.

Here is a few pics of new race Ideas I would like to see in game, They are concept from other people and take no credit or make no claims, but I think they look awesome and the idea of having races like these possible implemented into Skyrim or future games would be great. Also a few pics of transportation and weapons and armours I would like to see as rare or secret finds.

This a combat stance, sword pointed at a 45 degree angle towards the floor ready for battle. This is something I would like to see in game!

This armour would be awesome for females *note the freely moving cloak that isn't nailed the back of the knees on the characters*


These are just a few concepts that I like and if nothing but Ideas for new races, armours, and weapons come from posting this then so be it. I want an Elven shortsword it was my favourite weapon in Oblivion

I want to see my character's shadow in 1st person. It's just dumb to see only your companion's shadow when he stands next to you. It takes much away from immersion.

Secondly I'd hope for more dialog choices in quests. More options how to complete a quest and with real consequences.

I didn't bother reading all of it.


One thing that really annoys me, a lot.
Not being able to max out all stats in the long run without it being stupid such as Dark Souls leveling system would make it more enjoyable. Able to use any build, not right away but when your end game. That's a big thing.




Minor things
Nords, vikings etc, why isn't there any log houses with bear rugs. What happened to wolf and bear armor? Creatures and summons were cut down by at least half from previous games. I played for awhile and not impressed by weather, snow and rain isn't very well done. The landscaping could've been more interesting.

I really want a follow up to the civil war questline, and to see how each side deals with the Thalmor. That's all I ask.

I couldnt vote this one due to so many useless options, but however, we do need extra landmass to travel to. If you look at the map, there are two roads headed south. One road connected to Hammerfell and while other one connected Morrowind. Sometimes i wondering when i was traveling down these roads, it says "turn back"! Hopefully the expansions will unlock these two areas. Look like there are more roads connected to other provinces as well.

Ok, Ok, I'll delete my vote and think of this seriously. But I just find these kinds of polls... Pointless because it shows very unclearly what persons truly think.

What I would like to see is a simple change of the kill-cams. Right now, whenever I do a 1st person assassination move it looks like a floating arm becomes unattached from my body and floats in the air. Same happens when I'm looking down and I cast a spell, I'm only floating arms! Make those floating arms just a little bit longer so it actually looks like they are attacked to a body and I'm happy.
