Wish there was more exterior pieces to work with

Especially when it comes to building houses. We've got all these interior pieces that we can create whatever we want with, but when it comes to exteriors there's hardly anything. I know with Oblivion, interiors and exteriors were kind of pre-built, so interiors had matching exteriors, but less room for customizing a house from scratch.

That's what I just made. Now I'm discouraged from even finishing it, since if I want an exterior to match, I don't really have any options, and I can't go creating one from scratch like I can with the interior pieces. I also built it small because I wanted it to fit snuggly into this place I found while exploring the other day, and because small houses are just my kind of thing.

Here's a picture of the place:

I can't be the only one that's run into this issue before. Does anyone have any suggestions on what to do? Is there any exterior resources out there? Or do I just give up on it?

You could get creative I suppose. But you'll be hard pressed to find exterior pieces to match your interior. Is that a texture resource you're using?

Some kits, like the Riften farmhouse kit and Whiterun kit allow you to use most of their interior pieces to create an external structure. It can be a lot of fiddling about though. You could also just get creative with the house shapes, like I have http://i.imgur.com/9aGifUc.jpg. It's not amazing, but by joining together multiple farmhouses, it allows me to make a more open and customised interior.

The textures are different because I use the sixy Solitude texture replacer on Skyrim Nexus. I suppose I could try the interior pieces since the walls I use would work fine for that (since they aren't the one sided walls). Its just a matter of getting a roof then. But thanks for the ideas.
