My wishlist for added features in future updates.

Post » Fri Feb 12, 2016 8:20 pm

Since Bethesda does not "finish" a game anymore before release since Skyrim, and instead adds features with updates I hope some of the below will make it into the game.

Weapon(s) visibly holstered on the body. There shouldn't be a clipping problem when scripted in such a way as to auto-remove it when entering PA.

Closing and reopening vault doors should not have been removed, this is just a laziness. Also it makes no sense that Vault 87 becomes an open house as soon as I promise 3 fusion cores to the overseer and it never gets closed behind me.

Sea monsters, unless provided in an upcoming dlc, why are there no mutated dolphins/other animals in the water and cut out of the game?

When a location is reset please do not place the damn protectrons in their holding tubes again as it breaks immersion.

It is a short list for now, maybe others got better ideas I'v missed?

I wish every game came in an unfinished state like Skyrim and Fallout 4

First off you mean Vault 81 not 87, that one was the FEV vault from Fallout 3 where you get the GECK.

Secondly Vault 81 is actually close but when reloading the interior it's open for you because you handed them fusion cores. You could say the same thing happens to any other traveling merchant saying they're going to 81 to restock before heading out. It actually makes alot of sense like this

I agree about the sea monsters, even though I have a fear of deep water. It would have been cool to see shapes swimming around in the murk.

As for protectrons, it depends. If there were detroyed then yeah, makes no sense. If not, I'd just assume they wandered back in their pods. Thing is places get reset, and that usually includes everything.

Things I would like to have in a Fallout 4 addition.

1. A DLC that lets me build housing that looks new instead of like a shack. (Same thing for furniture, beds, etc.)

2. I'd like to change the color of my armor.

3. I'd like to send Shaun to any settlement I choose.

4. Build with Cinderblocks. (Make cinderblocks too.)

5. Lit Laterns that are movable so they can be placed elsewhere.

As in Hearthfire, I'd like the chance to build new-looking housing for my settlements, even if it has to be log cabin style with wooden pegs. Come on, guys, after 200 years, someone would have figured it out by now.
