$130 for that? Yeah no thanks.

I may pick up the game eventually when it's 30 or 40 bucks.

The Digital Premium Edition is available on Steam pre-order - the price is $44.99 and it includes

Making Of
Soundtrack
World Map
Strategy Guide
Game Manual
In-game Items
Papercraft Dolls (lolwut?)

It's nice and all but I'm one of those guys who aren't a huge fan of digital distribution.

If that is all I'll probably go for the Collector's Edition on disc. We'll see though, The Witcher requires online registration for my EE download to work, which is giving me problems because I used to have it installed on a different pc, so now my key is in use 'by someone else'. Customer service isn't helping much either. I'll have to start bothering them again this week so I can prepare properly for Part 2 ^_^

CDPR have stated they won't be using any DRM and are opposed to it. Also indicated by the way you don't even need the disc for me to play The Witcher EE :) So yes this will probably be a collectors edition purchase for me.

I wonder if the 360 version will be released in 6 months?

I'm excited about this game, however I hope it lasts more than the 2 weeks the first one took to finish. Wasn't happy about that. <_<

I will probably pre-order the steam version.

I have a condition called diskophobia, which means I have a fear of physical objects and only buy digital versions of games. Also, I watch movies on Netflix instead of buying DVDs. It's kind of like the opposite of a hoarder.

I think it's a dumb angle they're taking for the dice throwing, you can't even see how they landed. :P

The practical lights (motivated lighting from the candles) are pretty cool IMO.

I like the atmosphere in that tavern. Feels exactly like The Witcher one, just with updated graphics.

I have a great feeling this game will be awesome (no, not because the atmosphere in the tavern is great ). :)

Epic video, and it's just tossing dice in a tavern. Can't wait to see some more finalized combat.

No.

They did try with the first game, but had a few cut backs and had to scrap that. They said they'd be interested with this one, but it's not currently on the agenda.

They say that they really want to release it sometime on the consoles. They haven't confirmed anything about releasing it, but they talk a lot about wanting too.

Oh my sweet mother of god. That's what we call a difference from beta to finished product. Even the people on Bioware's own forums grudgingly have to admit it looks amazing. Still, this last year I've been disappointed by way too many games to just unquestioningly buy this. This game seems too good to be true, I'll just get my hopes up. Better to just not have any. Though I have to admit those are astounding. Glad I'm upgrading in a few weeks.

I had already pre-ordered the $130 CE, I have faith in CD Projekt. :celebration:

Who else is looking forward to this game?

I just saw this amazing youtube video - apparently an internal video from a year ago with crappy temp voiceovers (but excellent improvement in graphics and animations from TW1)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JciyoGmnGyo&hd=1

Definitely planning to pre-order this one. I would prefer to order all games from one online distributor (Steam), but since CD Projekt owns GOG they might offer some sort of special deal too sweet to pass up.

Yeah, it looks pretty sweet. I'm definitely getting it.

Yea, I'm wary of pre-ordering any game, especially those with shady DRM (I'm looking at you, EA/Bioware). However, I do believe I'll be picking this up!

Emo as it sounds, I've had nothing but gaming disappointments my last gaming purchases. I want to trust, but I can't. I already wasted enough money, need to wait for the reviews on this one.

That looks damn good. I would buy the Collector's Edition, but it's too expensive. I could do without some of the goodies if it was a lower price.
