And you will not see me next time i don't argue with trolls wen i find them.

To the people saying you have to pvp to get the best mats this is wrong. The best gear will be dropped not made by players. This means that the best of the best gear will most likely be some for of vet rank 10 gear that you can get from some type of dungeon. (Or something along these lines.)

I really think people need to stop [censored]ing some damn much and just play the game.

Won't someone think of the RPers?!?

I always feel a little bad for the roleplayers. Everything seems to be pvp vs pve and they kind of get left to the side a lot of the time. I suppose that's bound to happen when a group makes their own content to a certain extent.

As long as they keep adding content for all play styles and don't force people into playstyles they don't enjoy then there shouldn't be too many problems. I think the biggest issue at the moment is the number of half truths, assumptions and theories that are going around about pve AND pvp at the moment, especially endgame.

No.

I just think that your argument is flawed because is purely based on your personal (and biased) point of view.

In your point of view is that:

Arena/Duels=Checkers

Open World PVP=Chess.

Well...it's your point of view.

You think that arenas don't need strategy...

And in my point of view:

And there isn't a real open world PvP in TESO....don't you know that ?

Here we got a nice example of bad logic.

You describes a player that "forgot he had PVP flag on" (lol...we don't have it on TESO), getting ganked by a prepared player...and you compare it to chess ?

Really ?

LOL

You can balance classes and skills all you like but you will never be able to balance individual player skill

By their nature duels will never require the amount of strategy and thinking that open world PVP does. You have to worry about as little as one guy. A child could do that if they know the right buttons to press. Thats not hyperbole, its a literal fact, there are plenty of child duelists in MMO's.

The same children get upset with the frantic and unpredictable nature of open world PVP.

Do you not understand the checkers chess comparison? Do you not understand in chess there are almost infinite combinations of moves...which is likened to putting many different people into an area and letting them slug it out, as opposed to..wow 2 to 4 guys. Amazing.

You're confusing FFA PVP with open world PVP, did you know that?

Oh good, so we can only debate about things or use examples from things that are currently in TESO.

That is a nice example of bad logic since you just castrated any further statements you can make about arena or duel PVP.

LOL you just owned yourself.

It certainly got him out of his comfort zone didnt it?

By the way, "ganked" is when you are attacked by a group of players and werent expecting it. In the example I provided it was a 1v1 fight. I suggest you educate yourself about the terminology in PVP games before you pretend to debate it. ie. TESO doesnt have open world PVP. Also incorrect.

I repeat, PVP is a war, your comfort is not required.

You logic is sooo lame. LOL

First you describe a situation of 2 players getting prepared to fight before getting into it. And call it a Gear check.

Second you describes a player forgetting to turn the PvP flag off and getting GANKED by a prepared player...and you compare it to CHESS ???

Your logic is bad.

TBH that's no logic at all, just ur ego and personal fellings. lol

I'm out...

Another bad logic from you. lol

And your confort is never required on PvP.

That doesn't mean that PvP is always war.

I have seen that argument been made on this forum in other threads on this topic and I have seen that argument been made in allot of other MMOs with similar PvP to ESO.

You just keep repeating yourself. That's why I had no interest in arguing the topic with you, I could tell from.

lol

no its not.

This was going no where fast. You're exactly like one of those child duelists I was talking about. You inadvertently proved my point for me. Thanks.

Its not an argument, its a piece of advice. When you get older the things your parents tell you to do will sound less like nagging and more like guidance.

You clearly dont wanna be here debating this. You want to WTFPWN in duels and not do real pvp. Off you go little one.

I used to be for 1v1 type duels, then I learn that just cause pointless nerft wars. PVP is made for group combat, not single player PVP combat. So no, I do not want duels anymore.

It's your point of view.

If you think that a zergfest is truw PvP.

Or have the "logic" to compare a player getting ganked with CHESS...

I don't want to "WTFPWN in duels"...but I think they are more comparable to chess than a player getting ganked. HA

Comparable to what, checkers? Yes I totally agree, that was the point I tried to make to begin with. But you said no, and here we are.

Have you ever played chess, or checkers for that matter? Do you understand the comparison between the available type of moves vs the amount of possible variables?

It was this comparison that led you to having a meltdown about it, when the comparison is completely valid and sound.
