Yeah, I'm a PvE'er and even I don't get the "no duel or battleground" thing. Both are elective and don't affect those not participating. Lets hope that's another oversight that will be remedied sometime in the future.
Cyrodiil is all this pvp player needs. Best pvp zone since DAOC.
Its not an oversight its game design and i hope they are going to stick with it.
+1. Duels would make sense, but whiny people will cause horrible nerfs and duels are just fuel for their fire.
All i wana do, is have some fun! i got the feeling, im not the only one.
I hope the OP will have the same best wishes for PVPers after some broken classes, skill revamping and when we achieve the 100th class balance.
That 's odd. I've seen plenty of pure PvP players complain about the things you mentioned. Odd indeed.
Stop. You're comparing micro strategies with macro strategies, and your logic of saying Arenas and Duels are to Checkers as AvAvA is to Chess is like saying a macro-economist is more educated than a micro-economist, or that electrical engineering is more difficult than computer engineering, etc, etc.
Arenas and Duels are Chess game 'A'
AvAvA is Chess game 'B'
Forget about it.
I've tried to explain that to him. He called me a child.
And compared a player on a open world PvP, that forgot to turn his PvP flag off (there isn't such thing in TESO i know..thats his words), getting ganked...with CHESS.
=(

Keeping track of 10,000 possible outcomes at all times among many different players> keeping track of 50 possibilities when you feel like dueling 1 freakin guy.
Its not about being more educated, its an irrefutable fact to anyone that understands variables.
If you want to argue that duels/arenas take more skill, that's irrelevant to what Im saying. Not to mention impossible to prove since skill is subjective. But what Im saying can not or ever will be refuted, its basic mathematics.
And anyone with a brain can see being successful in a situation with infinitely more variables is greater than being successful in a largely controlled environment where little limited skirmishes take place. But I suppose if you really feel the need to argue against it...if you feel intent on proving your mental dysfunction. We've already been down this road.
You're looking pretty weak right now, needing people to agree with you in order to carry on any further debate.
LOL
Go back to WoW.
Arrogance and ignorance at its finest right there. I can call you stupid. Does that make you stupid? No. Stop labeling other people stupid.
Reported.
You are looking pretty weak right now. =D
Gotta appeal to the old go back to WoW "offense".
Very mature.
