I'm sure Crysis 2 will hit Steam before or on release but maybe getting it up now will be a benefit. Anyone who has tried or seen the beta build might feel compelled to purchase it, if they see it on Steam.

I know not everyone loves Steam but it's a big proportion of digital sales and I'll be personally pre-ordering as soon as I see it.

I bought Crysis + Crysis Warhead (Wars included) on Steam for myself. Also, I gave these Crysis bundles for two of my friends. I hope that the pre-order on Steam will be available at least for a week or two before release. Last 3 years I only buy games on Steam, because it is very convenient

Indeed, they should ride on the wave of hype/interest generated by the leak and put a pre-order up on steam. Although they'll have to actually make some max PC screenshots for it :O

Also, not being a day one buy from steam may as well be an admittance of 'well, we just don't like money'. If they're making a retail version they have no excuse for not putting it on steam

I think EA put DeadSpace 2 on steam about a week before launch. Dragon Age 2 is already there, so there's some hope.

Steam must take a cut, that would explain the delay. Although I can pre-order a retail copy with a box if I want so yeah that makes no sense.

Dead Space did'nt appear on steam till a week before release!! I hope crysis 2 will be on steam to seeing how I have $20 on steam already & plus steam is awsome!!!
